- I joined Jessica Dean on @CNN this afternoon to talk about why Kamala Harris is losing ground to Donald Trump.
As seen in my focus group of young Black men who are voting for him, Trump’s plainspoken language seems extreme to Beltway media - but it appeals to non-traditional voters who have come around to support him or oppose the Democrats.
Look at her face, LOL...
It’s not republicans vs democrats…it we the people vs. the establishment uni-party.

There is absolutely no excuse as to why there shouldn't be a result on election night. No games, no bs this year. Get it right.
It's not logistically feasible, they work as fast as humanly possible. The rules in some states require them to hold early votes until the polls close.

There are dozens of organizations, podcasts, former White House staff, entire movements dedicated to stopping the maga movement, like The Bulwark, The Lincoln Project, I could go on. Don't. She's got this. I see a few factors that lead me to believe Harris will win. So the likely voter polls show a statistical tie, but there are issues with that. Harris has a 30+ point lead among new voters who will be voting for the first time, and her campaign has really energized that group. There are 100s of thousands of them across the rust belt and they are not accounted for. She also has a huge edge among women especially in the 20-45 group who are highly motivated to get out to vote for her since Dobbs. The polls are not adequately accounting for how motivated her supporters are. Add to that her campaign is flush with money and volunteers and her campaign is just far more organized and well staffed. I won't venture a guess on the sun belt, but if she holds the Blue Wall, she wins, and that seems likely to me.

I have seen Luntz only a few times but I've been impressed by how level headed he is. I think he's a conservative but frankly, if Trump were more like Luntz he'd be in a much better position with voters in general. for myself, I'm pro Harris because Luntz ISN'T the guy running for top office, in which case America would be safe. Trump (sadly) is the guy in that spot and to be honest, I fear for America if he wins.
Trump appeals (indeed is enticing) to those who are ANGRY -- for whatever reason. his rhetoric is geared toward turning his base into a lynch mob. and unfortunately, angry people (for whatever reason) respond to someone using that kind of approach.
Trump definitely appeals to those who are "upset". maybe the sad thing is that there are so MANY people who are upset. Harris appeals to those who have hope. Trump to those who have despaired.
