Here's the problem with your insane example. Trump wasn't fired. In fact, he had more of his former employees (voters) who wanted him to stay on the job than any incumbent in the history of the country. The only reason he wasn't retained is because there was cheating going on, the executive board installed an insider. An incompetent, old fool, who was clearly not able to handle the job after about 6 to 8 months in th position. BTW, he didn't vandalize anything. In fact, he was concerned about the size of the crowd and the threat it might pose, so he offered up to 10k Guard troops, pre-authorized, to be in position in case they were needed to secure the property. Those in charge of securing the building (Pelosi, Schumer, Mayor of DC) declined the additional troops, leaving the building vulnerable to thugs. If they had taken Trump's advice, no damage or violence at all.
What elementalchilde (what a name) fails to understand is that in 2020, former vice president Joe Biden and the junior U.S. senator from California Kamala Harris defeated the incumbent Republican president, Donald Trump, and vice president, Mike Pence with 81,283,501 votes. Those 81,283,501 American votes were for both Biden and Harris together.
Biden is president now and he is in his first term as President, but he is stepping down and he handed the torch over to vice president Harris to take Biden’s place running. There is no debate over that, only whining from the right.

It's been a real adjustment since everyone doesn't have land lines. The data collection methods haven't been figured out yet. The margin of error demonstrates that it is functionally tied. Regardless, we just haven't figured it out. Junk data in and the analysis doesn't matter junk comes out. The historians are better at predicting the race over polls.

Kamala Harris graduated from Hastings college of law. The law school is ranked 82nd out of 196 law schools. She took her bar exam and failed, she failed the exam, she never had any of her business, never had her own employees, ever. In 2017 to 2021. She served in the California Senate, during those four years she worked on 164 pieces of legislation, not one of them ever became the law, her job approval was 8%. What makes it worse is that she is a liberal governing in a liberal State and she was still zero for 164, so, during four years she accomplished nothing. As Vice President she has a record of the lowest approval rating ever in the history of this country 28%.
