Jbl 5.0 multibeam has all of the same features, can be found for 200 on woot a few days ago and has more bass (impressive honestly for size) than the 300. It's remote is worse though and it's not quite as clear with the dialog. It's not perfect but the 300 replaced it in the line and it really isn't an upgrade, more of a different flavor. Tweeters clarity vs immersive bass.

No it doesn't have more bass. This bar 300 has a bass woofer in the back unlike the bar 5.0.
Thank you, though it has a bass port, but it doesn't come with a dedicated subwoofer.... which is a demanded device.
