T-line, paraflex, horn enclosures, so much fun stuff. I have a tapped horn box on 300 watts in my Aviator on one 10” and it hits 10x harder than my Navigator with 1200 watts on two tens.
The box is everything. Facts! I have a single L7X 12 ran off a Rockford Fosgate t1500-1bdcp doing 140's on music under 35 hz. In a ford escape suv. I've never burped it probably never will but mid 140's for one 12 I think is pretty good.
its about the box but also the tuning of the box we did this 25 years ago we built a geo metro for bass comp lanes only do your bass sweep find out what your car is tuned to build the box and port or vent it to what the car is tuned to first time we did it is when the power accustic mofo subs came out first we did 1 15 on the first power acoustic 3000d amp that came out then next year we did a team rockford quad coil 15 and put 4 power acoustic 3000d amps 1 on each coil fun times best thing if you wanna put high numbers up in the lanes just by a cheap hatch back car or suv or extended cap small truck but it easy to do small hatch cars there easyer to work in and you get good gas mileage to drive to the bass comps also the make shocks or struts with springs on them to i use those form rockauto for the weight and all my vehicles still sit level and have stiff suspension after having extra 500 punds in there
A 150 on ~1k watts is pretty impressive no matter the frequency. It is even harder to do sealed up on the glass. This takes a ton of designing, building, and testing to achieve. I have done it a few times using old school class ab amps at that.
I just like having multiple amps with overkill power...and everything stuffed to the gills with subs, speakers, wires, fans, and lithium. Never metered.
I hit 130 db's with 2 soundstream spl tens and a punch 40 back in the day lol. It was all in the enclosure that was built for those 10s. I know that's not 150 db's but it was impressive lol.
My brother built a Cavalier back in the 90s with 2 18s and all they had was a 130 meter and he buried the needle. That's what got me into messing with car audio, though I've only ever built daily driver stuff.
I also think weight is an issue, not something tou can reall put in to the competition, but i see how much weight some peoples system are. My rx8 can barley handle the extra 200lbs, but im still doing 18-60hz with a peak of 140db at 24hz and smooth 135db from 20-60hz. Id like to keep these number but half the weight. Stock charging system at the moment.
Brother please give people a chance to digest one video at a time. You would probably start getting more views per video that way instead of 10 videos in one day then a live... I've seen your lives there are like 4 to Maybe 10 people. Try it, if I doesn't work then go back to the 10 videos a day and 1 live like you doing... not an attack just trying to help you get that UA-cam money.

I think spl needs to change, it should be held for 1 minute or something. Unless its meant to test a subs out put it reall has no merit. 1 sec burps are fun and cool but i like systems that can push all day. Its more impressive when its less subs, smaller subs. I also like it to have bandwidth. BUT, it is a specific competition so i get it. Once again, if you actually listen to music, a practical system should blast all day and have in my opinion 20-60hz where 20 is the peak spl and the roll off to 60 is smooth and sounds flat in transition.
The box but it's also about the actual vehicle its in and reforcement and sealing done to it and the amount of space inside the vehicle also needs to be calculated in . Similar to tuning the sub box but the inside of the vehicle being tuned . 💯👍✌️🫡
Now that's impressive, true display of car audio knowledge.

I got 134.2 on two soundstream spl 10s and a kicker ZX1000.1 in a corolla back in the day myself.

These are cool and all but give me low tuning SQL builds.
man I got ya COVERED!
Yes, I do agree. Jaz97
Yes that was impressive
You may have some bad cancellation/phase issues going on.
Nice bro
Thanks

very insightful, I typically upload 1 video a day, but it depends. its my jam, it's not for everyone. and thanks for your input!

There's no equipement made that can hold up all day at total maximum output. Ever see a burnt unraveled coil or a blown up amp?

yea theres a LOT of mathing involved for sure!
I think someone said that the rear hatch weighs like 300lbs.
