Hi Doug, this is GARY. I just want to thank you again for the info on the magnets I picked them up and and hardly wait to put them on my next project. Also enjoyed meeting you in Salt Lake and also enjoyed the video you had with Scott great job on the scratch building and in all the different parts he use for his projects keep up the good work. Thanks again.😊
Good to meet you at GSL. Hope those magnets work out for you!
Nice to see and hear Scott.......thanks
Great to see this rare & even more rarely seen design concept, & the work bringing it into 3 dimensions.
this a great part of the hobby getting to see learn and most of all know the people
So funny. I am 58 so we are of a similar vintage and my path was so similar. After a few years building I saw a Revell ad. It is the one with the kid and his shelf of Revell funny cars all built. Of how I wanted that. I have it now and it is a pleasure to look at it and see my childhood of some 48 years ago. Thank you Doug and Scott.
And Doug. I will ask again. Hows about some subscriber builds? I post here and on MCM forums but I need to be famous here as well.
Awesome interview. Thanks so much. Ron
thanks -Doug I talked to you at NNL-EAST in the vendor room--- near the Model King's area -----Remember-? charlie
Awesome Interview Sirs, Stunning Builds Brother 🏆🏆 GBA 👍 Gary.
Great Video of Amazing builds!!!! Nice tip on the liquid tape. I remember seeing them in the magazine. Really enjoyed hearing his stories behind the builds. I learned about tring to dry a model with a light bulb to. 😑 Thanks for sharing
Vary cool enjoyed thanks you for showing us this great interview 👍
I loved this interview Doug ❤
I definitely blew up with fireworks and shot up with a bb gun most of my models from my youth... i do have photos, and one has survived ! It's the amt 63 corvette. I still have models yet to be biult I've had for years. Once i move and get settled im going to dive back into the hobby... as a kid i mostly built alone but had one friend who was into it and we'd build together at times.
Thanks for sharing
Great interview Doug. Scott's Pierce Arrow is an amazing build.
Great interview!!!
Amazing work. I will talk about this on my livestream tonight.
The Pierce Arrow is a wonderful build. Excellent craftsmanship. Thanks for sharing.
Snowball building? If that doesn't describe my work, nothing does. Well said and a truism if ever there was one.
That was cool! Thanks ❤
I really enjoy your channel and have learned so much. Thank you for making these videos.
Enjoyed!!!! 👍 👍
I never blew up models with firecrackers because I could make something else if I didn't destroy them. However a bunch of friends who blew up their models thought I really missed something fun!
Another great video guys!! Thanks for sharing it with us!!
Great interview with Scott, was waiting for him to talk about the Un-certain T in the back ground. Maybe a part three?
Your videos are on a level never seen before! Bravo! Definitely watch more than once! These are the models that show up at contests that make you want to put your stuff back in the box!
😎✌️🫡🇺🇸
Ive been using thick tacky glue to mockup and as final assembly for 30 years and it holds fine and you can undo it if you need to fix something that’s broken ir just changed your mind
Doug .. GREAT SHOW ... Does Scott Colmer have a site? ...If not .. he should.
What an awesome video Doug, great story and amazing builder and that’s no counting those beautiful models, thanks for sharing
Fantastic build awesome car. Just my opinion why detail the engine so amazingly and install a cover?
Sorry but I was disappointed with this video
It seemed to be more about the builder rather than the models themselves
Fem that particular model? I can see jaguar, Lincoln, Cadillac and chysler
