I bought a 70 Impala for $300.00 in 1985,it needed a battery, water pump and a starter. Drove that car for years and sold it for five hundred dollars. Wish I still had it! Awesome builds! Working on a few cars myself.
Take some 2000 grit and wet sand then finish with Maguires ultimate polish for that Donn Yost look. Also use an automotive clear and paint in a can. Comes out like glass.
Hey, your absolutley right. You can always build another one. If it's still being made. Nice builds. And there's so many things a person can do. I started doing aluminum exhaust.
I always work to do better on the next build. Keep the builds you got now then, build more models, not necessarily the same kit that way you can chart your progress. Build what you want to build the way you want to build it. Nice work keep it up
Those are all old builds it's not clear per say it's floor polish. Clear would fog the glass. I no longer use floor polish. I use better paint and clear now that I know how. All thes builds were stepping stones.
@@TheDartCave A better method is to dip the clear parts in floor polish and let them dry before installing. But really its not necessary unless you're planning on winning contests. Just leave them as they are. Also, I'd just use Krylon or Rustoleum to clear coat models. Future floor polish is garbage.
I believe most if not all of them was built before I knew how to use clear. That is floor polish. But yes some have too much remember most of thes are early builds. Thanks for your help.

You spray clear coat over the glass? Why??
