    I have one of these n I have a the proper SD card but it keeps popping up that it’s not right. I have a few buddy’s that are having the same issues?

    Mine was in the field working for about 6 weeks then just stopped sending me photos. The status page has 0.0GB/0.0GB for the SD card. I am in Florida and the camera is at our ranch in Texas. Quite the predicament since you can’t reset the camera in any way from the app

    If i’m planning on buy the monthly fee for it to send rigjt to my phone do i even need a sd card

      Hello Jojogrow58, the SD card is essential for the camera's operation, as it stores all captured images and videos. Without it, the camera won't function. Ensure you're using a compatible Class 10 MicroSD card, between 2GB and 512GB capacity when using a FLEX series camera. If you have any questions about setup or need assistance, feel free to ask!

    Hello Spypoint. I set up (2) Cameras on an oilfield lease in Texas so we can remote monitor the locations, I have been trying to upgrade the service with no success. A little help please.

    3 of 4 new Flex S cameras not working. All being solar, the one that is working doesn't have back-up batteries in it. The other 3 cameras took pics in the field at initial placement, so, we thought great and moved along. Now they sit in "processing mode" in the app with no pics transmitting. They are 4 hours away so it'll be 2 weeks before we get back up there again. Any thoughts or suggestions?

    I am also not able to scan the QR code inside the door. I have manually entered the 2 different set of numbers/letters and neither are working to activate my camera. Just bought it today at Costco, using an iphone 14

    I’m having issues with my camera. If I have a brand new SD card that I did a full format on a computer, when I put it into the camera do I need to press the format button?

      Hey Brian, you can either do a long format using a computer (in that case, formatting the SD card using the format button won't be necessary unless advised otherwise by our customer service agents), or you can format your SD card with the camera directly using the format button.

      Hey Jacob, when the lighting in the area is not adequate, the camera emits an infrared light that can reach up to 100 feet/30 meters.

      Hi Jacob! I hope you're doing well. The infrared light will not be seen by the naked eye. The only light that can be seen is the green while taking a picture and the orange while sending them.

      @@Spypoint I’m learning so much about the product. Thanks for the replies. I live in an area that has no cell service which means that the Sim card will be of no use to me for my application here on my property located out in the middle of nowhere. I see there are a green and then an orange light that are visible to the naked eye. My concern is that interlopers on my property will be alerted to the “flashes” and steal my camera.

    To get good quality photos, how far should I be from the feeding plot? My friends installed it maybe 50 feet away, and you hardly see the deer or beat that showed up. Is there a recommended distance? I want to change it, but would like to show them your recommendations.

      Hello George, Thank you for this question. Indeed, we have recommendations for the installation of the camera, depending on the desired objective of this camera:
      We recommend mounting the camera 30 feet (9.14 meters) away from the trigger point and 3-4 feet (about 1 meter) off the ground.
      Install the camera so that it is parallel to the ground. This improves the detection range and the IR flash coverage as well.
      If the camera is aimed at a feeder 20 feet (6m) away,
      Make sure that there is nothing in the immediate foreground, like branches or tall grass, that could influence the camera’s focus or cause it to trigger unnecessarily.
      Make sure that there is something in the background, such as trees or a brush, that can reflect the light emitted by the camera’s LEDs.The denser the background, the better the quality of your night photos.

    what is the secret to making the camera shoot videos?

      Hello Dangerfish TV, make sure that you have purchased the HD video plan. While the camera is set on Video Mode, you will receive 3-frame photos (deducted from your photo transmission plan). Click on the one you desire, and then you simply click on the HD icon on the top. Within a few communications, you should receive the video in full HD.

    Was excited to set up my first G-36 Flex. left it out for a few hours and some wind came through and must’ve blew bushes causing the Cam to take my allotted free 100 photos. So now I have to wait 15 days days to even attempt to set this up again or break out the wallet and pay for a subscription. 😡 very unimpressed seems like this company is more focused on pressing subscriptions than providing a user friendly product.

      Hey Reid, if you are using brand new batteries it shouldn't do that. Try these steps if you are using the flex camera:
      Use only new AA alkaline or lithium batteries.
      Don't mix new and old batteries.
      Don't use rechargeable AA batteries (their lower voltage will generate operational issues).
      Insert the batteries in the tray following the right polarity (+/-).
      Push the batteries gently and make them roll a bit.
      Hold both ends of the tray and gently twist it in the opposite direction.

    What exactly is this camera doing with the SIM card? I hear that they say that the SIM card is already inserted and it will find the best operator by itself. Will I need to pay a monthly subscription fee to use this camera?

      Same thing 6 months and sill have not used my flex. Still sitting in the house collecting dust. Instead of making new cameras maybe work on customer service. All my buddies have the same problems.. they are moving on to other brands.

    I have had a flex for 6 months, what a waste. It is still sitting on the counter it won't work. I have called 3 times. I keep getting india and they give me "I don't know". Absolutely no costumer service.
