Thanks! At my workplace, occasionally some goober will unplug EVs, mine and others. Ive caught one of them but it happened again. Next time they lift my vehicle cover Ill have this waiting to send me a picture.
Trail cameras are so much fun. I even put one out when I’m camping. It’s fun to see what comes visit at night. Thanks for another fair review. Be well my friends.
I’ve have the battery issues with both Flex and Flex G-36 cameras even though they don’t allow you to do updates over the air anymore I update both my Flex and Flex G-36 cameras. That significantly made an improvement using AA batteries they lasted longer than usually. Where I have my camera it’s a highly traveled area so I can get between 200-500 videos a day (I have settings set to highest quality and no delay on capturing the next video instant mode). I have all cameras sync 12 times a day. Once I switched my food plot camera to 12V source using Herd360 1025 Solar Panel. It never drops below 94% and I’ve got between 6500-7000 videos a month sometimes more. I noticed whenever the cameras were switched to a 12V all the issues with syncing and such had gone away. In my opinion these cameras like using a 12V source better than AA batteries. I highly recommend to anyone using any of the Spypoint Flex cameras to use 12V source. All the negative reviews about syncing, SD card issues and such would disappear. My Flex on the food plot has been running for well over a year using the Herd360 1025 Solar Panel. It hasn’t skipped a beat since using that. The Flex-S cameras have worked flawlessly as well no batteries or 12V needed.
@@ReviewThisThing definitely give it a try, I think it’ll be the last time you have to go to the woods because of syncing or sd card related problems. Also, I would highly recommend updating the cameras to their newest firmware.
awesome review as always will be waiting on your review for the flex m i have one out now so cant wait to see what yall review is on it and keep the great reviews coming😀😀
Does the camera come with it's own sim card/data plan or do you have to buy that separately to get the 109 free photos each month? If you read the SD card are the photos/videos on it HD?
The camera does come with the SIM card. The plan is separate-through the Spypoint app. You register your camera through their website/the app and you can get the free photos. If you want more, you pay for a bigger plan. The SD card is in the setting you set it (🤣). So if you put higher resolution, that’s what will be on the card. Hope that helps.
Does anyone have issues with the G36 taking loud pictures? I have it set to take 3 pictures per detection. I notice that even squirrels were running away after triggering the camera. Is there a way to fix?
Do trail cameras record audio, sound, and voice along with a video like police body cameras without internet and cell service? Do they come with built-in memory? Or do we need to buy separate SD cards?
It depends on which camera you buy. Most of the newer ones do record audio as well (this one does). Most of them do NOT have built in memory, so you will need an SD card (for most). I hope that helps.

Now that’s a good idea.
It would also be nice to shop through the app as well.
Good point.

We definitely need to check out the 12V setup!

Thank you so much. I really appreciate it!
Can you use this without the cellular option.. like just view photos and video with a card reader?
You can. Just like regular camera.
Spypoint customer service is top-notch. They replaced my camera, which was 3 years past the warranty period. I didn't even have to ask.
That’s refreshing to hear!

@samp.9239 you got it.

Hmmm…that’s an interesting question. I wonder, too. (Nice avatar)
If I set it to video, can I view the video from my phone? If so what's the app cost
You have to ask to download the full video. It’s $5 for I believe 15 videos, but I’m not certain about that part.

But, they will only record video/audio for short amounts of time (based on your chosen setting) - typically around 15-20 seconds.
IT'S going back to Costco
How long did it work?
Just bought one tonight from Costco! What was the issue?
@tex-electric5771 interested as well
