Awesome video. I learned a lot of things I never would have thought of. I'd love to see a similar video regarding tricep pushdowns and how different elbow positions and bar paths affect the triceps and shoulders differently

Why is this grip easier than the standard wide grip? More biceps involvement?

Can you talk more about the differences between motions at the SC joint and AC joint?

i could. do you have a specific question?

@@The_Modern_Meathead Yes - does scapular upward rotation/downward rotation occur at the SC joint exclusively? Or does that also require the AC joint to articulate? I understand that simply shrugging the shoulders up & down happens at the SC joint, but upward rotation (like during a lateral/front raise) rotates the acromion and upper scapula towards the neck. Which joints are being challenged the most during that movement? It seems like the GH joint/deltoid muscles have the shortest moment arm

Is it true that this grip builds more lower lats, while the overhand wide grip builds more upper lats? Some say yes, others no.

Should you arch your back? At the start should you lock your scapula in place?

Any particular reason to perform this chin-up grip over the pull-up grip?

Fully supinated chins or pulldowns hurt my elbows. I just use those slightly angled supinated grips.

Waiting for a certain influencer glazers to say that sagittal vertical pulls are less lats

    Hey Ben,
What are you thoughts on the Reeves Deadlift/Shrug, do they really help in widening/growing the clavicular bone?
Can you make a video on the same
    Greatly appreciated,
    Thanks!

My ass is at least two feet back from the cable. But I have a bench with upper and lower cables as opposed to that tiny little seat on a dedicated lat machine.
