I got to play against Pete for the board where he psyche bid 1NT and ended up in 4SX.....made my 3D preempt going 3 light a win. Cool to see the other side of it (and to win against an expert...for 1 board at least!)
I think this is really tough at the moment with everyone's score having being reset to 7D. There are a lot of good players starting again, especially now, just after the reset.
oh that finesse in 15:00 would be so horrible, classic false principle of restricted choice because defender can throw T or J from JTx, not only from JT second or signleton :D
I have been following closely the recent Australian Teams. I assume that you did not get involved. Is there any chance that you may review some of the boards? It is a pity that you are not engaged as commentator on Vugraph but I suppose you do have a life. I find bridge between human beings much more interesting than robots.

I think 2NT is strong in the balancing seat. That's why the 17-19 range was missing on one of the earlier hands.

I wasn’t thinking of restricted choice but counting the shape. If east started showing out in other suits I might finesse it.
