Have they changed the scoring? Their site claims +-15 for a win/loss, but I only seem to lose 1 or 2. I think that's really sad if so - it's turned the site from having a genuine ranking system to yet another play-more-to-rank higher bit of silliness.
@@wolpertbridge Ah, thanks. It seems weird to make ranks more reflective of reality the higher ranked you are, but I guess it's a decent improvement over master points
@@sashacooper9326 I think they did a smart thing with the change. From watching my son play, he needs the positive feedback of rank advancement. I can only imagine that people who were not ever able to advance past 7D would give up. The changes made no difference to the people who actually need to be ranked. The level of play still goes up pretty considerably at queen and then even more considerably at king and then ace. They seem very responsive to feedback so if you have ideas to make it better, let them know.
