Great video and a excellent job. I have a air leak in that 90 degree air fitting and this t quick connect fitting that are under the air dryer but only on one of the side of the t that have a red cap.Would you recommend changing the fittings and seeing if this helps because i park the truck and next day both gauges read zero.
@@LouSassoleS I’m sorry for the late response but yes changing the fitting is cheaper than actually replacing any big components. Easier to just stay there. Also maybe fill the system and then take a bottle with detergent and water mixed, and spray every line and component of the air system. You’ll likely find the leak. Air pressure coming to 0 overnight is excessive.
@@Masskular thank you for the reply, i have done the soapy water spray bottle and changed all the air fittings against the fire wall the couple fittings close to the air dryer and now i am waiting to get the fitting for top of the air bag on drivers side. I don’t think that will change much though i do believe there is a bigger leak i personally am not able to find. I bought a mechanic stethoscope and a creeper and went from front to back underneath the truck and doesn’t seem like i am able to find the smoking gun of why i am at zero every morning after parking the truck. I am curious do you think it could be the break chamber maybe a internal issue?
@@LouSassoleS Honestly it could be anything. I have common knowledge but I wouldn’t consider myself a professional. So I’m lost after that. I would like for you to keep me updated when you discover the issue though. I’m interested.
A friend who has had trucks for over 20 years replaces the air dryer every September, now that he manages a small fleet, same. It's not great in the dead of winter in the far North to deal with air systems. Best wishes from the far North.
@@carlthor91 He sounds like a smart man to me. Who wants to deal with a frozen line, or air tanks full of ice and water. The winters in the Far North are way more brutal than they are here in the US. So I could only imagine. Gotta keep some rubbing alcohol handy lol. Thanks and Well wishes to you too.

This was on a medium duty freightliner m2

@@Masskular If you are swapping trailers in the winter, 2-3 gallons under the bunk, are a wise idea.😎👍
