I don't think I'll ever be able to find the words to describe the feelings this song gives me. It is definitely one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard. I also feel like it tells this story of a journey, one that starts and ends in birth. I think it fits the movie so very well.

Amazing movie, I loved it. It was so sad, so beautiful... It was exactly like Spirited Away, but 10x sadder. The music, animation and design were just like a Miyazaki film.

@elvira ho , better than spirited away that in the end no one gets together, that problem could have been fix by having an even small 1 minute after the end credit , i talk about this a lot and imagine what it could be like , it goes like this, Chihiro goes back to home one day from school and said the same greetings "tadaima", and her mom said "okaeri" in the kitchen preparing for dinner and said your friend is here , the floor of the entrance indicating Haku's shoes , and this is it, this is all it needs then the movie is PERFECT!
Qiu's death was so sad, it hurts a lot that he gave up so much for Chun. There were many scenes that were sad such as Kun's death after he saves Chun but the part that brings a tear to my eye is his little sister after she realizes he isn't coming back. I do not think Chun is a bitch but she is very selfish in taking a lot for granted including Qiu's kindness and all that he did for her. I just think that she needs to mature a lot in that aspect and learn that once something either good or bad happens it can't be undone, no matter how much she may try to correct it. Her intentions to give Kun back his life are acted out on trying to repay kindness back to him since he saved her life in the first place. It's not his fault that he came back to life. Chun is a selfish person with good intentions but she shouldn't be arrogant and LISTEN TO SOMEONE WHEN THEY SAY THE CONSEQUENCES ARE SEVERE! I Still love this movie overall, the music is fantastic
i dont think Chun is a selfish person. She sacrificed herself to save the villagers from the flood despite being spurned before. Besides, she didnt know about the trade between Qiu and the soul keeper until the end, i think she just simply didnt realize Qiu's affection, or she did, in the last scenes, when Qiu confessed to Chun, she cried, maybe she already knew, but couldnt response. After all, saving Kun's life was Chun's decision and bringing Chun happiness was Qiu's choice, there is no one's fault.

I agree with Bang Giang Le comment, its all about selfless act, and Chun is far from selfish
1. She sacrified her life to revive Kun
2. When she realised that it was her doing made her world suffer, again she sacrificed herself by merging with her grandfather's tree and saved every body
It was clear how she feels towards Kun from the beginning, even in the OST Big Fish and Begonia it was clearly said how much she loves Kun. It was never about Chun and Qiu
From my point of view this movie is about selfless act
1. Kun lost his life to save a dolphin in a raging storm
2. Chun as we all know and I already mentioned above
3. Chun's grandfather sacrificed himself by burning his tree form to call Chun grandmother
4. Qiu sacrificed his life for Chun as we know
In addition in the tale there was a big tree name Kun, who's Spring ( Chun ) lasts for 8000 years and its Autumn ( Qiu ) lasts for 8000 years, Chun and Qiu are the opposite of the same coin, they never destined to meet each other.
this is the miracle of life caught in music
I don't know how to describe how painful and sad these melodies brought to me... still beautiful, though.

I Love every character of this movie!!!! The art is A M A Z I N G!!! The feelings of every character- omg... it hits me hard in every minute of this movie!!!! This world needs more of Kun (kindness), of Chun (thankful), of Grandpa (knowledge), of Grandma (family), of Qiu (love)
Big Fish and Begonia is such a wonderful film, I made me feel both scared and sad the way Spirited Away did! I hope many more people can enjoy it.

Ela estava sofrendo pq ele não conseguiu se salvar e por causa disso não conseguiu viver mais feliz enquanto não fez nada para mudar essa situação! enfim, acho muito arrogância chegar a essa conclusão considerando só as consequências!

So I played Death Stranding which has an intriguing story about life and death, then I discovered this ultra high quality animation production, the story resembled some death stranding story ellements, especially at the end after the credits which shocked me. Every thing about this movie screams for more, because its so different and impactfull in many ways. The most shocking thing to me which never happend before, I watched the movie twice on same day, which is ridiclous to me because it was the first time happening to me. In otherwords the movie is too good the OST is beautifull, im still thinking about the movie, its a masterpiece and I love it !
I believe China is surpassing what we used to know as best animation movie production from (Disney, Pixar, Studio Ghibli), and this is even the start ^^

Because he is the next soul keeper who's going to serve for eternity. He traded his life for Chun's, thereby his soul is not freed from his body but bound to his promise.
