Yep, light pollution ruins the night sky, I grew up in rural Pa. but now live in a small city of 60,000. I can still see some stars but not like in Pa. I have a friend who was born and raised in a large city. He was amazed at how may stars he could see when we went climbing in Co. He never saw the milky way in real life and thought it was a cloud. I hope you are able to visit dark areas outside the city once in a while.
Sometimes I did the same thing...it the way I clear my mind or just let my mind be fantasies all kind of things that I couldn't do...

Something i wrote on the back of my novel that im currently writing. In case anyone doesnt understand what it means, its a euphemism for suicide.
Each of the main characters are going to overcome a huge internal conflict.
Hina- overcoming her passivity and timidness. Not being afraid to upset someone if it means accomplishing something.
Horus- overcoming confidence and self esteem issues. To finally look within himself for the inner strength to carry on in the hardest times.
Hades- overcoming his brash, aggressive, and often destructive anger and hatred. Learning to control his emotions and to think and act more calmly. For his actions have consequences.
The main character, Odin- overcoming depression and suicidal ideations. Learning to love yourself and that at the end of the day, what makes you special is not what kind of power you possess or the skillset you have.
What makes you special is whats inside your words, inside your actions. What makes you special... is you. And learning to love that, with all the flaws and perfections that it comes with.

Once upon a time a man stumbled upon a weapon, covered in dust, it layed there, in the old ruins near his hometown... The man had never seen such a weird looking blade so out of curiosity he slowly grabbed it's handle...
"In a million years... have i ever been wielded by someone with such a pure soul" she whispered, as he heard thoses words the time around him stopped... he tried to throw it away, but a veil of purple light surrounded his body and soon the environement was completly frozen, even a rabbit who was jumping at the perfect moment became stone. Soon enough the blade turned herself into a maiden. Dressed in a silk dress she embraced the young boy telling him that she was going to take evrything from him... "I was lost, i am pain..." The boy looked at the blade and saw how many lives it had taken away in oblivion... In silence the maiden took his soul, in love ? in pain ? he obeyed and came back to his hometown to explain to his parents how much he loved that maiden, that night that village became the theater of many horrors...
Today, it is said that in it's ruins lay a cursed blade, prison to the most dangerous spirit "Khae" the Maiden of Blades...
