Mango Panna Cotta Simple and Easy

- Panna cotta originated in Norther Italy. Many claims have been made that the dish was invented by a Hungarian woman in the early 1900’s. It has, however, made its way into kitchens and restaurants around the globe. I often make it up for dinner parties, and my guests simply love it. Get the recipe: cooknshare.com/recipe/mango-p...
You can alter this dessert in a few ways. Firstly, I make mango panna cotta because I love mangoes, but you can make a blueberry, kiwi, strawberry puree, etc. I can see them all going so nicely with the panna cotta.
If you are making the mango puree, you don’t really need to add sugar depending on the type of mango you get and where you’re from. I lived in the Philippines for a couple of years and love the mangoes there as they were always ripe, sweet, and filled with flavor. In North America, however, I find the mangoes a touch on the sour side.
You don’t have to put the puree in the fried to set, as you can pour it over the panna cotta and serve it. If you’re doing that, you can leave the gelatin mixture out. I like mine to set nicely simply because the texture is superb. I should mention that you can use flavored gelatin too if you like. You can be the judge, however.
Watch the video, give our mango panna cotta a try, and let us know what you think.

My pleasure
Excellent!
Thanks so much.
I am from the Philippines
I'm from pakistan and mangoes there are very sweet
That is nice.
So I work in ocean transportation. The reason they tend to be more bitter here is because they are not from here. They have to ship fruit when it is still a bit unripe before they chill and use some assorted chemicals to keep it from ripening in the refigerated cargo. By the time it gets to the states, it's usually ripe or close to it.
Hi John. Yes, that makes sense. Thanks.
Yummy ❤
Thanks so much.
😘 yummy.

Can I use all purpose cream instead of heavy/whipping cream? because it's hard for me to find whipping cream in the supermarkets.
and btw, I'm glad that you like mangoes from Philippines! 😊
Hey Faith. Yes, you could do that. Let us know how it comes out.
Hi, Dave. That panna cotta looks yummy. What's the best way to make sure your shrimp doesn't curl up when frying them? Have a good day, Dave.
Hey Byron. Hope all is well and thanks so much. I make a slight cut on the underside of the shrimp. That usually helps. Take care, Byron.
Can I skip the gelatine? Great recipe! Thanks
Hi Margueritta. I think you could in the mango puree, but I'm not sure about the rest. It would be really runny. Hope this helps.
How many sheets of gelatins should I put for the mango jelly?
Hello, noticed your video recipe and written recipe differ in amounts of sugar in panna cotta..... which should we follow?
Oh no. I will check that out for sure. Thanks for the heads up.
We can do it without gelatin
Can I mix the gelatin straight into the cream milk mixture without having to mix separately in another bowl of water?
No because the cream needs to cool and you need to dissolve the gelatin evenly into the hot water.
Hi! I loved watching your videos and have tried some of the recipes. I'm a bit confused with this one, you said 1/4 cup sugar, 1tbsp gelatin dissolved in 1/4 cup water. But on the recipe link it says 2tbps sugar, 1tsp gelatin dissolved in 2tbps water 🙄
Sorry. I'll fix it. Just follow the video.
Can we use frozen mangoes?
I have a question. can you substitute the heavy cream with a all purpose cream?
Hi. It does not whip up that well. Just make sure it is really cold if you do use it.
TheCooknShare oh thanks. anyways my teacher said on her verdict that the milk was over powering and it's too sweet :(
Can i use whipped cream pow n mix it in milk after dat can i used this?
Hi Sumya. I think you could do that. Hope this helps.
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
If want to use geely tablets , it must be used how many grams?
Hi Joyce. I would measure in tsp if you can. Hope this helps.
