I, on the other hand, cannot stand binding. I don’t mind machine sewing it on, but when it comes to turning it to the other side and sewing (machine), it just never comes out. 😩
You aren't behind because there is no race. I am still working on my Jelly Roll Irish Chain that I should have worked on when I was on the live with Donnell. LOL but it didn't get done. You should see my stack of quilts to be bound. I am going out of town this weekend and I may take a machine with me and bind at least one quilt.
Hi Cathy! You know what? An Empty box means buy something to fill it. Soft Squares has a 25% off sale this week. Tonight’s live (9/23/24) they gave the code. I might get some 108’s to help me finish all these quilt tops I have. Have a good night.
Ok. I have looked at the whole fabric selection in that pattern. IF I decide to make it, I will substitute out one of those red/ white fabrics with another fabric because my opinion is they are too much the same design. Does that make sense??
It does and I agree. I wish there had been more of the predominantly red fabric to make all the 4 patches. The place I ordered the other from didn't have the near solid red.
It looks like it was tested but the instructions weren't updated. It is fine with me though because I like puzzles and figuring it out is part of the fun. I am thinking when the whole quilt is put together the colors will show better.
@@myhobbyhomelifeI agree with you on it being way too busy. I love the Ohio Star also. Maybe just change the floral red to a white or solid red? It seems like they should not charge extra for fabric if it’s their fault.
Your quilt you got back is just beautiful. ❤😊
Thank you! 😊
Hi Cathy! Those Ohio stars are so pretty! You sure got a lot done for sewing much!
Thank you so much! I agree, the Ohio Star is very pretty.
Your Silverstone is so pretty!
Thank you so much!
Silver stone is so pretty. I love your fabric front and back. You keep me hoping that I’ll get to it soon!
I love it as well. So much that I am considering taking it with me when I go out of town and hand binding it(I never hand bind).
I can’t believe you got that quilt quilted so quickly. In my area, it takes about 6-8 weeks! It’s beautiful
I think it was around 4-6 weeks. Not exactly sure but I did tell her no rush.
I just love binding! It's a finish!
It really is and I hope to get at least one done this week.

I have that issue some times too.
They are all so pretty! Cathy you have definitely made a lot of progress in less than 2 years.
Thank you for saying so. It has been fun and it feels like it has been more than 15 months.
@@myhobbyhomelifewow! Only 15 months? You really have did an incredible job!
Thank you so much.
Your quilts are beautiful!
Thank you so much.
I love the backing fabric on your Silverstone quilt!
Thank you! 😊
Wow beautiful work
Thank you!
You're knocking them out!! I'm so far behind!!!!!

Oh I have plenty already kitted up to move over but still trying to knock a few more out.

Hope you have a great trip!
Thank you - my sister and I love finding of the beaten path places to visit. My hubby gets the weekend all to himself (well with the pups and kittys).
So sorry about the red and white. I hate it when the patterns are wrong. I guess they didn’t test the quilt pattern out first.

I love the dusty rose you chose. That’s some of my favorite colors.
Mine too!
