I'm so glad to see stuff like this. Growing up poor and being inable to celebrate my own, it makes me a lot happier to see that stuff is not that way for others.
Happened to me in the 4th grade. For the first time I had a birthday party where only classmates were invited instead of my many cousins. It was at a roller skating rink and several other kids were having their birthdays at the same time. They all had lots of kids at their party and my section was empty. Seeing that was too much for me to handle and I broke down and cried. Dad to the rescue. He raced around picking up all my cousins and we had fun. My teacher yelled at all my classmates when we came back to school for not coming and not RSVPing. That was almost 40yrs ago and scared me for life. Till this day I have never had another large birthday party. I only celebrate with immediate family or one or two friends.
The truth is, that's not right for your teacher to yell at the kids in class because you invited them all and nobody showed from school. You can't rely on kids from school to be at your bday parties. Your parents need to make better friends with kids already or should have taken you to the playground and made some.
Growing up my parents had 2 rules when it came to birthday parties. 1. you invited everyone in your class 2. you go to all the parties you were invited to (unless it conflicted heavily with our already made plans. It didn’t happen much)
Why? I blame the parents. Shame on all of the kids and their mother and fathers. This really broke my heart. A big thank you to the adults who helped celebrate and redo each of kids birthdays.
@@mark_spit7839 You have a point about some little kids being absolute horrors. That’s why I never, ever had a school class party for my kid. Normally it was about 6 friends, plus a few team mates from his competition side. Generally everyone came.
Exactly. It's just good manners! There were three instances in my son's life where he was the only guest to show up and it was so depressing. The kids will always remember being shunned.
This is something that almost happened to my stepdaughters classmate. Her family had rented out a rec-center room, and had lots of pizzas ordered. I let my step daughter go even though she was grounded that day, but I was so glad she went when we got there. My step daughter was the only kid to show up to this girls 8th birthday out of 23 invited kids. After that no matter who invites her we bring her to any party she gets a invitation too. Sorry for any grammar errors, im typing this quickly.
My birthday is New Years Eve December 31st I'm 38 so I was so excited to put my feet up, eat and relax all day and night but when I was younger and wanted birthday parties 🥳 I know all about this. This was so kind. Shows that when given the chance humanity will always come to help. Hugs from Wasilla Alaska, Tschandra
My daughter’s was yesterday so I completely understand. It’s hard to throw her a party. She just turned 10. Hopefully it’ll get better once she’s older. I’m sure she will love being able to party on her 21st birthday on one of the biggest holidays lol
I am glad these kids had fun at their birthday celebration. I am 76 years plus and I never had a birthday party in my life. No cake, no ice cream and no presents and neither did my mother growing up but we all managed to survive. And we all grew up in the USA.
This is definitely the parents, if you tell a kid “want to go to a birthday party?” 99% of the time they’ll be excited to go. There was a little girl my daughter made friends with at an outing once, they lived in a city about 30 minutes away from us. They got along so well and the little girl was telling my daughter and I how her parents hardly ever take her anywhere and she would love to spend time with my daughter again, so I got her mom’s number and we invited her to a playdate and my daughter’s birthday party even but the playdate was declined and she RSVPed the birthday party saying the girls dad will take her but was a no show and didn’t respond to messages.
That's so sweet!!! I don't even need to imagine how the felt because I'm used to it- but honestly no one should be alone on their birthday! This just makes me smile once again! I just hope those people who helped the kids birthdays have a good life especially the kids! I just hope everyone smiles on their birthdays!
This is why we stopped having parties for our son, the last 2 years no one has shown up so last year we did a birthday trip, went to wolf lodge and rented a beach house. My son loved it and we saved money while making core memories
This happened to an old friend of mine in second grade. She invite around 10 girls from school, they all said they would come, but I was the only one who showed up. Her family was really happy I came, and we played frog themed games and ate cupcakes.
Just when you think humanity can’t be saved it redeemed. Then you see these amazing ppl stepping up for these kids and it restores a little more faith in humanity
The reason this makes me a little worried is that back when, it was our siblings, cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents..., a best friend or 2 & maybe a neighbor kid or 2 who came to our parties when we were young. Sure maybe it did occur that more of our school associates would show up to 1 in our lifetime but mostly no. Today I'm sad because we rely so much on virtual strangers, people we don't have close bonds with and even those who have these super duper hectic weekend schedules to show up at these parties & events for our kids. It feels like a set up for them to feel like a reject verses we don't really have close bonds and understandings with these people. We havent created the villages to support one another in these areas for the kids. Alot of us don't live near our siblings and other family like we used to in order to have that built in village. The other thing is giving the child this heaviness of its so terrible that these people who owe you nothing didn't show up. I don't mean it harshly. I'd rather we have this perfect world where things magically turn out the way we want or imagine but it's just not that way. It feels like t.v. and media has help set it up for us to plan these things thinking people will just show up because they got an invitation...and because gosh it's my wonderful kid after all. I hope we move away from this for the kids sake. Even our own sake unless we purposely start building these villages that consciously support this.
Well when I had *birthday pool parties* it including games, horseback riding, a cookout and an overnight camp out in a tent and playhouse in my backyard. The whole village did show up 😂

This happened on my first birthday party when I was turning like 9 or 10 years old. We rented a roller rink and slushies and even goodie bags for my entire class including an enormous cake and no one came. The next day I asked why and everyone claimed to be busy. Here’s the twist! My birthdays April 1st 😂I haven’t had a birthday party since and it’s just a family thing now with my grandma and grandpas and myself.
As a father myself, I DREAD the possibility of this happening to my girl. I'm SO grateful that she has many awesome friends that wouldn't do this to her.
I know the feeling, my birthday would be celebrated the same weekend of the super bowl. After I turned 5, my birthday had less and less people attending, until I told my parents I didn’t want to have a birthday party anymore. Not looking for a pity party, but kids remember.
I understand how it feels being a parent in this situation. I just celebrated my son's Fifth birthday. Invited nearby kids (his friends), but no one showed. It was really heartbreaking, cause I am struggling with unemployment and had to arrange somehow for the party. I prayed to God that "Please do not let my Son be unfortunate as me. I want him to have happy memories. I want him to be successful. " And 5 minutes later a girl showed up. I went to the prayer area and thanked the Almighty with teary eyes, for being so generous. And just minutes later many more kids came. My son was happy and all of us were delighted. My faith on God strengthend much more. Thank you Bhagwanji.
This is heartwarming!!! I was thrilled as a child when kids came to other kids parties and my mother kept up with all of the dates (60's) To the parents of those children who was a no show should had encouraged them to go...Its about fun and making memories...Happy Birthday's to both of you!!
Who doesn’t like cake? No matter how people always say they don’t want a birthday party or make a fuss but deep down they really do. But it hits different when people don’t show for a kids birthday party.
One time I did a chuck e cheese party and the kids best friend had parents that didn't allow her to come but I had to pay for her spot anyway. I am so excited to see the kindness of these ppl that made things right for these kids.
In india, specially in my locality, we die waiting for birthdays (when we were kids)🤣 it was a massive sadness if were not invited. Some even went without invitation😆
Thats hilarious! Children party crashing. 😂 here in the US many times there is a rule implemented by schools that you have to invite every kid in the class to your party if you hand invitations out at school. Lots of parents hate this rule. 😂
Same in France ! If someone invites you its more of a sign of honour and affection, so if you aren't able its something really sad and usually you try making it up later I mean at least in my case, but i think ive only ever missed one birthday party and it was cuz the person was bullying my friend
Why would those kids' friends ever not show up at their birthday party?!! Thats ridiculously rude and disrespectful!! Bless you people for making their day!!!
When I was younger I had birthday parties where no one or only 1 or 2 showed up for my birthday. I was relentlessly bullied in school but thankfully we didn’t have social media in the mid 90’s so I wasn’t bullied online. I’m glad that they were able to have a great birthday after all. No child should have to be alone with no friends.
Kids don't need big parties with fake friends. They need to just be with real people who love and appreciate them and let them enjoy their special day. It's usually more hurt on the parents ego.
This year my childhood friend whose birthday party was arranged was about to cancelled because of none of my friends showing up including me, at last I felt very bad, said Nobody deserves this. I cancelled my all plans called some of my friends and enjoyed party. He was very happy at that day. I saw his mood swing from Sad to happy in 2 hrs....😊
I remember a new kid in elementary school was so happy that all of us classmates came to his birthday party that he started to cry because I guess no one in his other school ever showed up on his birthdays
We have a big family so they're enough to celebrate each kid's birthday growing up without inviting anybody else. Now that we're adults we still keep it within family but smaller gatherings now as some family have moved to other states.
This is why when I was about 12 I told my parents I didn't want any more birthday parties and not to bother inviting anyone. I used the excuse that I felt like I was too old now for such things. But the real reason was because I felt probably no one would show up.
I'm not crying, you're crying... 🥺 I love that those cops showed up and even the dog was involved. That's rare, given the fact that they're typically not allowed to mingle with people, at least not on the clock.. so awesome! 👮♂️🚓
I had a birthday party for my daughter and no one showed up. I found out my "friend" got a hold of all the party guests and told them that I cancelled the party. Needless to say, I am not friends with her anymore.
Oh, man... I was trying not to tear up through this whole thing! Those kids deserve a big smile! I decided not to invite my son's classmates anymore for birthdays. The disappointment is too much. It is painful when nobody RSVP's or doesn't come for whatever reason. I threw a birthday party a couple years ago at our local bowling ally for my son, but only one classmate showed up. My son and his friend had a good time, which was all that mattered. I was crushed when only one kid showed up out of 25 kids in his class. We went to other classmates parties that year and bought nice gifts for them. They couldn't be bothered to return the favor I guess.
Kids this is a lesson that you’ll realize when your older. People really aren’t your friends. And by the time you reach a certain age you’ll only want a couple friends. You’ll only want a peaceful life with them. Knowing a lot of people is stressful and full of drama. Keep your team small and focus on the good life.
it happen to me on my 16th birthday, so my relatives went and got kids who were my younger sister friends and i had a good time. never was friendly after that to the people i had invited.
There's a remedy for this. Bring cupcakes to school and ALL the "friends" can be there to celebrate. That's the old school way of having birthday parties. If you want a more intimate setting on a non school day...invite ONLY the families you know will show up.
Nobody should be alone on their birthday, those kids deserve the best birthday ever 😀

There is worse.......My family used to be quite violent with each other and my parents were so focused on themselves that they never organized a birthday party for me......I had an 8th birthday that my older brothers organized and many kids showed uo BUT THAT WAS IT.......All I would get was an awful $5 sponge cake from the supermarket and that was it.......At least you had family......I only remember my now deceased father beating up my brothers and them beating each other up.....I think my father's idea is it would toughen them up.....And them my mom would cope with it by being a shop-o-holic and buying randome stuff nobody needed and my parents would always argue about mounting debt ......Good times ( not really).
@Brea Laike no thanks, already had him....nothing but disappointment
:((
Getting yelled at for something you didn't do is crazy
The truth is, that's not right for your teacher to yell at the kids in class because you invited them all and nobody showed from school. You can't rely on kids from school to be at your bday parties. Your parents need to make better friends with kids already or should have taken you to the playground and made some.
Missing from the replies is the fact that your Dad is the real hero in this story. A real man of action, and a quick thinker too.
Your dad is the VIP.
To those who made these kids feel special God will bless you for it.
Growing up my parents had 2 rules when it came to birthday parties.
1. you invited everyone in your class
2. you go to all the parties you were invited to (unless it conflicted heavily with our already made plans. It didn’t happen much)
Inviting everyone in your class is very expensive though
Why? I blame the parents. Shame on all of the kids and their mother and fathers. This really broke my heart. A big thank you to the adults who helped celebrate and redo each of kids birthdays.
Well you can’t blame the kids, it’s not like they have cars to go themselves
Kids aren’t obligated to go to patty’s-
@YME true
@YME I was just gonna post something similar. Little kids can be A- holes too.
@@mark_spit7839 You have a point about some little kids being absolute horrors. That’s why I never, ever had a school class party for my kid. Normally it was about 6 friends, plus a few team mates from his competition side. Generally everyone came.
I make it a huge point to take my daughter to every birthday party she’s invited to. One of my fears is this happening to her 🥺
That's a good rule of thumb.
We do this too
Exactly. It's just good manners! There were three instances in my son's life where he was the only guest to show up and it was so depressing. The kids will always remember being shunned.
That’s so freaking sad I’m so glad he got a birthday to enjoy🎉❤

That is so mean and sad how nobody show up to their birthday parties. God bless him and the people who celebrated his birthday.
Sorry for any grammar errors, im typing this quickly.
that’s so heart warming 😢.
My birthday is New Years Eve December 31st I'm 38 so I was so excited to put my feet up, eat and relax all day and night but when I was younger and wanted birthday parties 🥳 I know all about this. This was so kind. Shows that when given the chance humanity will always come to help. Hugs from Wasilla Alaska,

Happy belated bday! 😊
Taking new year new me to the next level
I have the same birthday! I turned 17. It sucks because everytime I have a birthday I have to celebrate New Year’s Eve too😢
Omg we have the same birthday!
Damn which state (place)you grow up?
@@goda7137 Ohio
Never had one myself. No presents as a child or teenager.. No cake.
First birthday present I received I was 21 or 22.
That’s the thing, the kids aren’t obligated to go.
These have brought tears, all great endings. Happiest Birthday to all them.
I feel sorry for the kids but at least they had other people to accompany them❤
His face at his party when no one showed his gut wrenching. I’m glad he was able to have a bday party he truly deserved!
I just feel bad like people took time and effort to plan and make the party only no one would come. It hurts me deeply 😭
I can't just blame the classmates for not showing up, I blame their parents too. I'm glad these kids was able to enjoy their birthdays.
Don’t blame the kids it’s their choice not to go
@@thekannenball yes i mean why is it a must to go to a birthday party anyways especially introverts

@@slaydog5102 I celebrated my 18th birthday alone and it was the single best day of my life
This happened to an old friend of mine in second grade. She invite around 10 girls from school, they all said they would come, but I was the only one who showed up. Her family was really happy I came, and we played frog themed games and ate cupcakes.
That nice of you and I beat you two have more fun
They can say they will come because no kids will turn down a party! But they can't drive themselves to the party!
I'm glad that you two had a good time! I'm sure that you being there meant the world to her!
Couldn't be better said 💯
Omg totally agree!!
Well when I had *birthday pool parties* it including games, horseback riding, a cookout and an overnight camp out in a tent and playhouse in my backyard. The whole village did show up 😂
Its a birthday party its not that deep. As a society we cant stay in the past forever we have to move on
Wouldn't it be better to have a small party with the family and maybe the kid's BFF?

Faith in humanity 🙏
What about faith in humanity for the people that didn't show up?
I know the feeling, my birthday would be celebrated the same weekend of the super bowl. After I turned 5, my birthday had less and less people attending, until I told my parents I didn’t want to have a birthday party anymore. Not looking for a pity party, but kids remember.
It doesn’t fall on the Super Bowl every year.
Seeing this kind of empathy and compassion poured out for these beautiful children gives me hope, and renews my faith in humanity! ❤👍
And 5 minutes later a girl showed up.
This video is wholesome.❤️
Who doesn’t like cake? No matter how people always say they don’t want a birthday party or make a fuss but deep down they really do. But it hits different when people don’t show for a kids birthday party.
Children can be so cruel sometimes... But don't let it stop you for having your birthday.
They're never there when you want them but they always come when you don't need them
One time I did a chuck e cheese party and the kids best friend had parents that didn't allow her to come but I had to pay for her spot anyway. I am so excited to see the kindness of these ppl that made things right for these kids.
In india, specially in my locality, we die waiting for birthdays (when we were kids)🤣 it was a massive sadness if were not invited. Some even went without invitation😆
Same in Philippines 🇵🇭.
Same in nuña

Thats hilarious! Children party crashing. 😂 here in the US many times there is a rule implemented by schools that you have to invite every kid in the class to your party if you hand invitations out at school. Lots of parents hate this rule. 😂
Same in France ! If someone invites you its more of a sign of honour and affection, so if you aren't able its something really sad and usually you try making it up later
I mean at least in my case, but i think ive only ever missed one birthday party and it was cuz the person was bullying my friend
Why would those kids' friends ever not show up at their birthday party?!! Thats ridiculously rude and disrespectful!!
Bless you people for making their day!!!

Sad to say that people only cared about themselves. :(
As a parent why would you take a pic of your kid alone
For clout
A stunt
To post on fb or insta ....and blast their son story online......to gain sympathy and shame the other parents and children for not coming....
These acts of kindness make the world a beautiful place!!! It's the goodness in people which make everything worth experiencing and lovely.
Those kids who didn't come to their birthdays probably regretted it
Kids don't need big parties with fake friends. They need to just be with real people who love and appreciate them and let them enjoy their special day. It's usually more hurt on the parents ego.
Praise GOD to all those people that showed up for these children birthday parties!
Still a lot of good in this world. Happy new year from Syria y'all ❤
This year my childhood friend whose birthday party was arranged was about to cancelled because of none of my friends showing up including me, at last I felt very bad, said Nobody deserves this. My son has been the only friend on several occasions to show up at other kid’s birthday parties. We try to make every single party we can.
I remember a new kid in elementary school was so happy that all of us classmates came to his birthday party that he started to cry because I guess no one in his other school ever showed up on his birthdays
This is actually a nice story. Your classmates seem like a bunch of reasonable kids. Top marks to their parents as well.
I don’t celebrate birthdays but this sounds like something that would happen to me lol

I love that those cops showed up and even the dog was involved.

How can parents do this too children. Because It's the parents who decide where the children go.
They couldn't be bothered to return the favor I guess.
i remember in first grade i invited my whole class to my birthday party and no one showed up. i'm so happy none of these kids had to go through that
that hurts me
Sooooo proud of everyone that made these Childrens days to remember Blessings Always 🙏🏽💛
Kids this is a lesson that you’ll realize when your older. People really aren’t your friends. And by the time you reach a certain age you’ll only want a couple friends. You’ll only want a peaceful life with them. Knowing a lot of people is stressful and full of drama. Keep your team small and focus on the good life.
it happen to me on my 16th birthday, so my relatives went and got kids who were my younger sister friends and i had a good time. never was friendly after that to the people i had invited.
umderstandable..they were fake
There's a remedy for this. Bring cupcakes to school and ALL the "friends" can be there to celebrate. That's the old school way of having birthday parties.
If you want a more intimate setting on a non school day...invite ONLY the families you know will show up.
