The little girl who shielded her brother brought me to tears. Accidents happen. It that was no accident. She literally put her life on the line, something she not have had to do.
I truly do not understand that clip. Man in red is running from shooter, and bowls over sister and brother. The Shooter runs up and continues shooting at the man in red despite the kids nearby. The sister is *directly in the line of fire.* The brother stands up and tries to bolt away to the right, but the sister reaches out to grab him and tries to shield him, but inadvertently pulls him directly back into the line of fire, face first no less. Everyone praises the sister for....good intentions I guess?
The little girl who shielded her brother while bullets were flying... As a big sister, I would have done the same thing. So glad those bullets missed them, they had a guardian angel with them
Seeing that young girl have to SHIELD her brother from gunshots was heartbreaking. No, not have to. She WANTED to save his life and she did. That is pure love right there. A lot of people say they would take a bullet for someone but this little girl was ready to die for her brother.

My sister rescued me from a rip current when I was 9, she was 11 but adrenaline took over her (she said) when she saw me struggling (I wasn’t the best swimmer at 9) and going further and further into the ocean, she went in and swam over to pull me out, she was successful and then adults noticed what was happening and came in to help us out (even though we were almost out by then lol). Those 8 and 10-year-old siblings should have never had to go through it, but they acted fast and smart and were able to save their little brother from being kidnapped. That baby boy won't remember that terrifying day, but I'm willing to bet his big brother and sister will always look out for him and each other like that from now on.

That little girl that shielded her brother. That was just amazing. She risked her life to save her brother. That's one step closer to becoming a cop I hope you have your dream come true
I can't even imagine being 13 and being put in the position where I have to shield my sibling with my body. That little girl is beyond brave! She didn't even think twice! And that piece of garbage who sat there and fired his gun towards little children, I don't even have words for what a heartless monster that is. Shooting somebody is bad enough, doing it where you're willing to murder little kids at the same time is just something completely uncomprehensible.

I got an award for helping my siser years ago. We took horse riding lessons and being older I was helping out with the younger ones in my sisters class. I led my sisters horse around the arena when a garden gnome spooked the horse (jumpy animals easily spooked) and it started to take off trying to buck my sister off. It was a big horse and she was little but all I could think was 'hang on' and managed to drag the horse to a stop by letting it run circles around me holding onto the leading rope.
