That child was incredibly adorable and that sketch was darkly deliciously funny as hell. Chris, you are too young to know this, but we boomers thought Imagine was way too corny when it came out, however after John Lennon was assassinated it took on a WHOLE new meaning and fondness from people old enough. ☮️😎

Boomer here with adult grandchildren but I love Daddy Court.
I normally avoid commercials like the plague but I watched and enjoyed this one. I know it was serious but I kept hoping for a smart ass comment from you, although it did look as if you were holding back. (Bad Grandma) Cool way too help the exchequer, though.

I have a 5 yo and Mamma Court just becomes more confusing as time goes on.
My kid confessed he went to the principal's office the other day... his story excluding all my prompts for clarification:
I didn't obey the rules
I got in a fight
X stepped on my finger
X crushed my finger
Y slammed my finger in the door
Z held me down so Y could bite my finger like a zombie
The KV44 Tank came over the hill and fired an electrified bunker buster and blew a hole through the wall and my finger got hit by a brick to help me in a fight against [his best friend A who had been home with the flu for 3 days at this point] *he began then throwing snow and rolling around on the ground immitating tank noises* "And then... we all DIED but the mechanics saved us and I was sent to the principal's office and I can't go back to school for TWO DAYS!"
The reality:
Teacher explained escallating punishment leading up to the principal and 2 day suspension.
His desk mate moved their desk and barely squished my kid's middle finger so he got a bandaid and said he couldn't move his finger any more while demonstrating he could fold the other 4 fingers into a fist.
He was never sent to the principal but it was friday and noone would be in school for 2 days.
Ah and we live on the prarie. If it weren't apparant: No Valhalla Toons cartoon tank came over any hill and everyone was, infact very much alive despite there being no mechanics to save them in the school.

Just over three weeks is long in comparison to lots of young kids. I've heard them complaining a few days after Christmas. (Visits to Walmart after Christmas are very enlightening for us no-kids types.)
