last night, i listened to him sing this before i went to bed. it was late, everyone was getting ready for bed. my computer was on and i was sitting up on my bed, i was inside my room when i was listening to this song. it was cold and dark. I took one look at him, took a deep breath and cried interally. I cried interally of joy because i was alive and it was my only purpose to come tonight to hear it. also nothing was more beautiful than life itself (besides this version of ''hallelujah'' of course. if you're reading this, chris mann, you're really amazing. I'm glad i didn't die before i knew you).

Chris, as this song has been covered endless times, I was quite curious as to how you would perform it. I closed my eyes to listen and the words I'd describe it as was - 'very smooth'. Chris man is amazing. This poor song is getting beaten to death though-meaning so overplayed. I used to get goose bumps from this song, it no longer holds that wow factor for me and it’s a damn shame. I wish I could go back in time to hear this song for the time all over again.
