It ended up being 3 things, Rear CV Front Rubber coupling and the Centre bearing. Centre bearing is extremely common, had it in both my xr6t's. The whirring / droning sound in the description wasn't on my previous xr6 (and that was just the centre bearing) so I am assuming all the noise was the rear CV. it got bad real fast , pretty much one day under half throttle from the lights I felt a dirty shudder then a slight pop. Then I babied it home , above 40km/h the sound and vibration the car was making was totally B/S and I didn't want to damage the Gearbox with any unnecessary vibration. After that I parked it up for a few weeks till i got it fixed, I took the risk of driving to my local Drive Shaft shop, guy said it was on its absolute last legs and I was lucky to of made it.
CV join inside worn ball bearings.I have had simular isue and they have many different size of Cv drive shraft join. My ford falcon ba part number was CV-860,Outside diametar 100mm,number of splines 32.Before purchasing this part it has to be confirm this informations and part can be purchased for around $200 with grese and rubber clamp for Cv boot. Before removing shraft has to be marked"because of balance tags"and it is time to replace centre bearing too, because rubber usualy get broken and all problem can be fix in one time. After this repair if problem is constant looks like "diff lost prelod on spicer with bearings and rebuilding diff is next which i have to do and it was time for replace diff bushes and blade arms bushes and car ride and grip is different like never before.
Tell you what - I've had FAR more trouble with my BA Fairmont Ghia (at now 120,000kms) than I ever had in my EA equivalent, which went for probably close to a million kms (speedobroke years before I 'upgraded') which only needed a few things, vs TONS of things from this car so far!
