DISNEYLAND PARIS MAGICAL SHUTTLE BUS EXPERIENCE
--------------------------------------------------------
Thank you for this video. My husband and I just arrived in Paris and your video is the only reason we were able to find the Magical Shuttle.
I’ve only seen the magic shuttle busy once & that was mid August in 2017. The shuttle bus has taken us to partner hotels in the past so it was still an option if we weren’t staying on property. It’s a great option when there’s not enough of you to make a taxi from the airport worthwhile.
Absolutely! I believe they still do go to all the official partner hotels too :) Definitely a good option for a small group x
Thanks Sam, I find travelling from the airport to the parks the most stressful part of my journey. My trips on the magical shuttle have ranged from 40 mins to 90 mins depending on traffic, and how busy the bus is.
Thank you for the info Steve ☺️ I guess I got lucky with my journey being on the shorter side.
Thank you so much for this video! I am planning a trip from the USA to Disneyland Paris, and this is super helpful since it'll be my first foreign Disney park.
Thank you Sam, you've answered a lot of questions for me regarding travelling from the airport etc. I'm also delighted that you always commented on the friendliness of the staff, there's a few other vloggers that always complain about the unfriendliness in DP. Do they take your luggage to your room once its ready or do you collect it yourself from the storage? once again thank you for your wonderful vlogs....
You're most welcome, Shirley :) With the luggage service - it depends on where you're staying. At higher up hotels like New York and Disneyland Hotel, I believe you can have them bring your luggage up to you. Most other hotels, you just get a tag and for your luggage and use that to retrieve them yourself when your room is ready x
We did that on the way back from Disney land Paris was really good
Thank you so much! Your videos have been so helpful!!! We are surprising our little ones with a Disneyland Paris trip (we live in Germany). Really appreciate your videos.
Thank you for this video. I am travelling in August with my 2 children and have been trying to decide on the best (easiest) way to get from CDG to DLP with 2 cases, an 8 and a 5 year old. I think this is it and will be booking our seats later today.
You're most welcome, Rachel! :) I was pleasantly surprised with the Magical Shuttle x
I had to book a magical shuttle last minute on my phone last time I went because there was a security threat at the CDG train station which was very scary! Luckily the magical shuttle was very easy to book and I was able to scan from my phone (I have an android and got the ticket so maybe it was an apple thing for you as you said). The bus was very quiet just like it was for you! Thanks for sharing your experience though, it is definitely nice to have someone show where to go to get the magical shuttle especially 😊
Oh no that does sound scary!! Glad you had a nice and smooth experience with the Magical Shuttle too and that it was quiet xx
I'll be working in Disneyland Paris from May until September, I hope to see you in the parks!
Ahh amazing! 🎉 Yeah, maybe see you around Elodie! ☺️
Thank you, i was so much in doubt on how to get From the airport to Disneyland. And also how to get to the shuttle and how easy it was.
So thank you 😊 you made our trip in december easier ❤️
You're most welcome, Emilie :) Glad it was a helpful video for you x
Thank you, Thank you, Thank you for sharing all the information you shared in this video! I've wondered what it would be like to use the Magical Shuttle to DLP 👍😀👍
You're most welcome! :) Thanks so much for watching.
Thanks for this really informative video! You answered all my questions I had about the magical shuttle.
You’re most welcome, Lynda x
Thank you lovely Sam.
Now I know many things which I had no idea before🤩🤩
You're most welcome, Royal :) thanks for your continued support x
Hi Sam, do you have a video on how to get the RER from charles De Gaulle to Val d'europe? thankyou 🙂
There used to be a "spin the wheel game" at the shuttle kiosk you could play to win a prize with your ticket...it was conveniently out of order each time we visited lol 😄
This was very helpful 👍🏻Thanks a lot.
You're most welcome :)
We always travelled by the shuttle if we weren't driving great way to get to the park 😊 as always Sam useful vlog and guidance for anyone planning a disney trip 😀 xx
Thanks Anita :) I'd defo use it again if I ever fly to Paris in the future x
Thank you!! So informative!
You’re most welcome ☺️
You are the best! Very informative and thank you! 🙏🏽💚
Thanks Neha 🥰🥰🥰
Glad I found this channel your videos have been so informative I am preparing for my first trip to Disney and my first ever holiday alone and watching your videos has massively put my mind at ease and helps plan my trip
Thank you for the video very informative. I wonder Why it’s call magical shuttle?
Most welcome :) I guess because it takes you to Disney?
Thanks so much! I just booked the Magical Shuttle for our summer trip. Only 15 euros per person because they have a special flat rate for groups. We were going to use the TGV when rates were around $17 but rates are $42 per person for our trip so this was a better option.
Again sooo helpful, thank you Sam! This year I will try this for the first time so it was nice to see :) before I always came to Disneyland from central Paris. You are reading my mind what videos i want haha!
Btw is advanced booking required for the bus? I checked the website and it seems to be only for certain day, not time. Of course its easier to have the tickets ready, but it seems its not like a secured booking? I mean you still cant be sure you will get to the next buss (if its full) even if you have the ticket?
Thanks for the information 😁
Thanks for watching Hannah ☺️
We now use a private taxi, pre-booked through parisdisneyshuttle. The driver meets you as you come out of customs, helps you with luggage to the vehicle and whisks you off the door of your hotel. It can be expensive if you are alone or a couple. It is I think 70euro each way, so if you are a family of 4 or more it is a cheaper way of travelling, and it doesn't stop at all the hotels around Disneyland Paris.
We use this for the speed, experience and that there is only one flight per day from Belfast, and this is often in the evening after the last Disney bus has finished.
But the door to door service, quick and convenient and really comfortable executive vehicles it is worth it for us.
I always use magic shuttle in my trips to DLP and love it 😍 but I always land on orly 🥰
Ahh cool! I really enjoyed using it too :)
Thankyou so much for all your dlp videos, I've learnt so much. Praying our original 2020 trip will happen this year in August 💗💖😊 do you think avengers campus will be open then? Hoping we'll get a date soon 🤩 take care x
Aw thanks Emma! I’m so glad 🥰 Obviously nothing official’s been announced yet - but I personally think Avengers Campus should defo be open by August 🎉🙏🏼
Hi Sam! Your video was helpful since I’m planning my trip to Disneyland Paris! Btw I would like to know when are u in the park? Everyday? Or just idk! I’ll be there between the 6 and the 9 of May! Hope you will be here! That would be a dream come true to meet you there! Have a nice day! ✨
Hello, and thank you so much! 🥰 I’m not sure I’ll be there on those dates in May, I’m afraid. But hope to see you around another time and hope you have an amazing trip! 🎉
@@Sam4G0d thanks! 🤩♥️
Wow great video….
I bet you were freezing coming from a lovely hot place like that…
I guess say an hour depending g on which resort your at….Thanks 👍🇬🇧
Thanks Bronnie! Yeah, it was quite a shock in weather at first haha! x
Thankyou
I've gotten the shuttle at various times of day and different days n it never been busy.
Ahh that’s good to know, thanks Stacey x
@Sam4G0d love yr videos n u xx
very good video, very good explanations.
Thank you Sam that was so helpful! We are going to DLP on the 10th March and are using the Magic shuttle, great to see Newport bay is the first hotel it stops at! I wonder how long it takes to get back to the airport if it’s the first hotel to pick up from? X
Thank you Sam for this. ( I always use Eurostar as its so convenient for me to catch a direct train down to St.Pancras) But this so interesting & full of such valuable information when you fly. x
Thank you Debbie ☺️ was interesting to try it for the first time.
merci
🥰🥰
Another great video sam do you know what would happen if you book your ticket time and the accidently miss it? Would you be able to catch the next bus
Can you show a video in how to get from dl paris back to the cdg airport. The Rer or tgv train. And what is the earliest time you can get on? We need something super early in the morning. Coming from the usa
Might get this coach on my next trip, can't decide between price or speed for coach vs train.
In these times, I like an empty coach!
TRUE!
Hey just came across your video.. I'm going there on the 16th June but we don't get there till 2145 and it's a Sunday just wondering if you know if they will be this magical shuttles when we get there or do they stop at a certain time
Thanks
Hi! Going to Disney for the first time in may and using the magic shuttle, did you have to book a specific time or was it an all day pass? Also does it go to all the hotels? We are staying in the B&B hotel. Loved the vid!
I am lucky to live in belgium we used to go by car it was a few house driving mostly didn't sleep the night before
Ahh nice!
hello, the bus goes into every hotel and the driver stops when its yours?
Lovely video! We always take the direct eurostar but we’re flying for the 1st time this year as it gives us more choice in times and not sure when eurostar is doing direct trains again so decided to book flights. For my trip with the family we’re taking a taxi it seemed easier with 3 kids 2 having pushchairs lol For my hen party trip I’m still contemplating on taking the train or taxi. Is it easy to book the TGV? I looked on the website once but couldn’t make sense of it 🤣🤦🏻♀️ is the RER as quick too from CDG?
thanks for sharing. did you also get free disneyland ticket for staying at disneylands hotels? or do you really need to buy seperately?
Planning a trip next January arriving via eurorail then taking magical bus to airport to leave. What is the latest the bus to the airport runs?
Hi Sam! What kind of seatbelts has the bus? 3 points as cars (from shoulder) or 2 points as planes (seatbelt over the belly). Thanks!!!
Hi Sam we are planning to use the magic express from cdg Airport for the first time next year but it all depends on getting there from terminal 2b my mum can't use escalators due to a slight mobility issue do they have a lift option on route from the terminal to the bus stop or is it escalators only the whole way there .
Have you done or will you do a video of the Eurostar to Disney.. I know it’s pretty
Much a stones through to the park but still useful maybe :)
I haven’t done a dedicated video on Direct Eurostar to Disneyland Paris yet - but will do so soon ☺️
@@Sam4G0d Thankyou! You are my
Husband and i favourite channel since we’ve booked Disneyland for September! Also be interested in how you get the Disney deals too.. addicted to your channel now haha! Much love
Does the Nhs covid heath pass work in Disney land Paris
You will need the French app for this "Tous anti COVID" I believe it's called. Your NHS COVID info should be able to transfer here . :) hope this helps :).
They do accept the NHS covid health pass at Disneyland Paris from my experience - as long as you have the code for them to scan. Even some partner hotels accept the NHS health pass! But as mentioned by Jake, it's probably better to have the French app downloaded as well, just in case :) It's really easy to transfer your details unto their app x
@@Sam4G0d ok
Thank you because I went to go Disney land Paris because I have not been since 2014
Why did I think it would take longer. And we always use the magic shuttle. 35min is great
Yeah, I was pleasantly surprised with the time! I suppose it depends on the time of day - maybe during rush hour it and traffic, it might take a bit longer x
I am trying to book a trip to Disneyland and booking flights on the website in a package but it doesn't say in the bus is included, does anyone know if they are or not
Hi my wife and I love your vids we have 2 days left in DLP took my daughter for her 13th if your in the parks this Thursday or Friday day any chance we could meet up and say hi it would be the icing on the cake if our Holliday if you can’t no prob still lov your vids
Hello! ☺️ I’m afraid I won’t be in the parks this week, sorry! Hope you all enjoy the rest of your time in Disneyland Paris though, and thank you for watching the videos. Also, big happy birthday to your daughter! X
@@Sam4G0d ok no problem many thanks look forward to your other vids also pls mention us on a vid if you review the croque monsiour in the cafe at main st please it’s Mark Paula and grace we think they are ace
Did the bus have a toilet?
Just a note.... CDG tickets nothing like showen. Construction everywhere, did find a machine but screen nothing like you used. Had a (reluctant) attendant help, had to type in Marrne velle... For Disneyland!? No " tourist" option.
Hello. Does the magic shuttle stop at the partner hotel dream castle at all or would i be better booking private transfer? Thanks
Thank you so much Sam this was very helpful in your experience would you rather take the Eurostar than fly?
I’m going first time in September and I live in Surrey I did hear the Eurostar only goes certain days directly to DLP I really don’t want to change trains as will be travelling alone but would love to hear your thoughts on which you prefer but I absolutely love your videos thanks so much 😊❤️⭐️
Ahh thank you so much, Maureen :)
I personally much prefer the Eurostar, as it eliminates the hassle of airports and luggage limits. I have a video on my channel showing the route to DLP from Paris (getting the RER train) in case it might help? The Lille changeover is even easier!
I generally use indirect Eurostars because they're cheaper and more flexible with the times they run xx
@@Sam4G0d
Thank you so much I will def take the Eurostar then 😊❤️
Isn't it possible anymore to buy the ticket for the Magic Shuttle at the airport?? Last time (5 years ago) I bought it right before the Bus leaves at the airport...
Anyone tried the magical shuttle private transfer??
do you by any chance know if you come by train with a big suitcase you can walk through disney village into the hotels (with the security check, health pass check) or if you need to get into the hotels by the main entrance?
You can go through the Village x
So can you pay on the bus
Does the bus take you directly from the airport to the hotel?
Hi, does the magical shuttle stop at the B&B Hotel Disneyland? Or does it go straight to Disneyland?
If it goes directly to Disneyland, on which platform?
Yes it does, this service is recommended by B&B
I've booked my transfer as part of my disney hotel & tickets on the disneylandparis website but haven't had anything about tickets or how to show I've purhcased it once I get there, anyone know?
I was wondering the same however I received my bus tickets about a week before our trip, which is tomorrow :)
They must process the tickets in batches rather than immediately when you book.
Eurostar is over the double price of flights at the moment and none are running direct at present, unless I missed something!??
I almost always go indirectly, either through Paris or Lille. If you book Eurostar tickets in advance, you can get them as cheaply as £39 each way! I also have been using Eurostar for years so have lots of points with them to use.
Agreed that with direct DLP Eurostar trains and last minute bookings, it can often be more expensive than flying x
@@Sam4G0d yea I always see cheap fares advertised for Eurostar but when I look months ahead no cheap fares and flights always less than 50 quid. Shame really. Also a shame no direct services at the moment.
For me, the most practical way from CDG is by TGV. Only takes 10 minutes, direct to Marne-la-Vallée. I only took the Magical Shuttle once (from Orly) and it was such a bad experience... Nothing magical about it 😅 But now I always fly to CDG and take the TGV or the RER (with 1 change at Châtelet les Halles) .
Agreed, the TGV train is definitely the quickest and probably my preferred way :) But that can sometimes be a bit of a hassle, particularly for families - so I think the Magical Shuttle is a great option too.
Sorry you had a bad experience from Orly :( Can I ask what made it so bad? As obviously my experience with the Magical Shuttle is still very limited.
@@Sam4G0d The TGV can be chaotic, I agree. Most of the times, if my booked seats are occupied I don't even bother looking, I just stay by the doors (it's easier with a kid and a stroller).
With the Magical Shuttle, did you had a ticket with a booked time? When I used it, the tickets didn't had times so you had to line up for the bus. There were a lot of people, everyone running to get a seat on the next bus, on a very rainy day. It was such a hassle! And the driver wasn't the friendliest, he was very rude to some families. The journey was quiet and quick, but I hated all the boarding stress. I'm glad that you had a nice experience!
@@inesz32 looks like the prices for TGV has gone up a bit, i was looking for tickets in juli, and it says its 35 euro per person per way. thats a lot for a 10 minute train ride :o
@@jakob8358 yes, I've heard that the prices might increase this year. Last October I paid 15€ per adult. For 35€ I would rather take the Magical Shuttle or the RER.
Is the shuttle free for those who already have booking at Disneyland hotels??
Sadly not :(
We found express good going but not as good on return
Ooh that's interesting. I didn't take it on the way back, as I got a Eurostar, but can I ask what made the return journey not as good? x
@@Sam4G0d, arrived late to pick up n said may not be able fit all guests on as we had plane to catch was worry waited n they sent another bus
We looked Into this! Glad you shown it. We ended up getting an Uber for €40-45 which would be the price of two coach tickets - highly recommend for parties of 2-4! Thanks Sam, also do you read your Instagram DMs still? I sent you a Long message don’t need a reply I just wanted to say thank you for all your videos!💕
Ahh that’s a great deal - yeah I guess if you’re a bigger party, Uber can work out cheaper and better ☺️
I do read my DMs, but they normally go into my requests as I get a lot, so I try my best to read and reply to as many as I can once a week or so. I’ll have a look for your message soon - thanks again in advance Samantha 💙
