I find it funny that Christians give all their money to the church which in reality has been controlled by 1 family of direct family ties as in father to son or cousin sense the 800s when the church of Christianity was founded. Every single pope has been direct family member of every single pope. The leaders of Christianity is one family that has brain washed billions over nearly 1200 years to follow a corrupt religion. Its the exact same with every religion where 1 family has ruled as its leadership sense the religion was founded. Its blatantly 1 corrupted evil family ruling over a bunch of dumbasses and that is religion.

In Matthew 10:34-36, Jesus said, "Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword. For I have come to turn 'a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law-a man's enemies will be the members of his own household.'" In this passage, Jesus is speaking metaphorically about the division that may occur within families as a result of following him. He emphasizes that following him and his teachings can bring about conflict and division, even among close family members. It is important to note, however, that Jesus' intent is not to promote discord or family strife but rather to emphasize the cost and commitment of discipleship.
@@brandonsmith2172 No, it's not common sense. When the bible describes how to take care of your slaves, it's not common sense. It's based on the values of people hundreds of years ago in a vastly different culture. What is literal to them might be a metaphor for you, and vise-versa. A lot of it is assumptions made by translators and corrected to fit the English language just to make it marketable. Christians just like choose themselves to fit their own narrative on how God operates; saying the parts they like are to be taken to heart, while the slavery, homophobia, sexism, genocide, etc are metaphors. It's wildly inconsistent and I'm honestly baffled people take this copy of a translation of an interpretation of a copy so seriously.
Funny how everything clearly problematic is a metaphor and there's a convenient INTERPRETATION that makes the iron age mythology fit into modern morals after a large dose of mental gymnastics

This video si a perfect example of the division that can be witnessed between 1 man and 2 strangers divided by belief in Jesus Christ.
It is out of context though...which shows you can't make a logical response to an argument like this short 10 second clip is showing. The reason the Pharisees and Sadducees had such a problem with jesus's teachings it's because they were infested with pagan theology, where is the Pharisees and Sadducees mostly stuck to the ideas that were canonical Israelite scripture. Like the RISEN DEAD. Like GOD HAVING CHILDREN, AND OBVIOUSLY SO, HAVING A WIFE, WHOM HE *F Ū ¢ |{ £D*...yeah, SOOO not totally a pagan idea going against ALLEGED Hebrew monotheism. And was HE NOT THERE TO DESTROY OR INVALIDATE THE LAWS OF MOSES? Any preacher will give you such high quality mental gymnastics about how that was NOT AT ALL his true intent, IN FACT JUST THE OPPOSITE, they need to be in the Olympics. But then tell me why only Jews who reject Christ are the only people who still (supposedly attempt) to follow "The Law"? And if pagan theology is not so embedded into Christianity and Judaism that is coming out of their pores, tell me why you and every other Christian in Hebrew invoke the name of the pagan Egyptian sun God EVERY TIME YOU PRAY, which itself, praying, is a form of sympathetic magic, more commonly known as VOODOO, that is, communicating with an entity or physically affecting matter in another place OR ANOTHER DIMENSION. Where is God and Jesus in heaven and hell in THIS DIMENSION? Still wouldn't matter if you were "praying" and someone heard it in, say, another county, THATS STILL VOODOO BABY. That's why the ancient Israelites weren't allowed to pray to God or even to SPEAK HIS NAME, for in sympathetic magic, just knowing somebody's name and reciting it or chanting it allegedly holds power over said entity. That's why Jacob wanted to know the name of the "Angel" (god, lowercase g, non human homonid of "Divine" origin")after he kicked his a$s all night, and that's PRECISELY WHY the "god" DID NOT WANT TO TELL HIM, THATS why only Aaron and Moses could talk to YJWH in the tent of meeting, THATS WHY one of the ten commandments was not to make graven images because that's basically like a VOODOO DOLL, I wasn't around back then but apparently if you did it right you could control something just by speaking ones name or having an image of it. Aleister Crowley said he mastered this dark art to the point where he develop the power to knock a man off his feet 50 yards away-now who knows if THATS true, but pagan theology is so steeped in to ancient Judaism and Christianity that that's basically what these religions are and THAT'S WHERE THEY CAME FROM. Pagans with historically first, Israelites were (ALLEGEDLY)born and bred out of Egypt (so no duh they say Amen all the f'ing time), then Israelites separated themselves from these practices and beliefs under Hezekiah in the 7th century BC, the old scriptures and all pagan content was edited out or at least most of it you will find places here and there, (example to cure the plague of snakes all the Israelites had to look at or bow in front of a bronze sculpture of a SERPENT, UPON YHWS'S COMMAND) until again they were invaded by more pagans, the exile did more to paganize the Israelites then I believe any other time since they were MIGRANT WORKERS in Egypt. Just look at the theology of the scriptures we know we're written before the Babylonian exile and look at Jesus's teachings, mystical and.... Yep, Pagan AF. But then when you get deeper into it you realize that the person of Jesus never actually existed, it's a caricature of an individual representing a certain ideology, most probably created by the Romans to distract them from focusing on their hatred for the Romans for how they treated the Hebrews. (Hebrews/Israelites were not called Jews until centuries later that's why I don't say it while referring to them during this time in history)

Aron Ra likes to cherry pick verses from the Bible and say “Ha! Gotcha!” And when a theologian or anyone countering his argument pleads with him to actually do a modicum of exigesis and textual analysis all he can say is “well that’s what it says”! "It's called 'hyperbole'." As soon as he says that ONE THING Jesus said is "hyperbole", he needs to provide a test to determine WHICH THINGS Jesus said were hyperbole and which were literal.
MrGevander a test you can use for it to be hyperbole is to ask does Jesus and the rest of scripture contradicts itself? The verse I believe he is talking about is: “If anyone comes to Me and does not hate his father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters, yes, and his own life also, he cannot be My disciple.” Luke 14:26 NKJV So then we ask does Jesus actually mean HATE them or in a since make them secondary and put Jesus first and that He should take precedence over all things in our worldly life. The reason I come to this conclusion is because Jesus in Matthew 15:4 & Exodus 20:12 we are commanded to honor our father and mother. Also in 1 John 3:15 if you HATE your brother, that makes you a murderer; therefore, you will not have enteral life in heaven. All things now being said we can see that if we say that hate actually means hate scripture, Jesus, and God all contradict each other. Which is not so. MrGevander I plead with you to fear the Lord because through that comes knowledge and hope you find salvation in Jesus Christ because even though you choose to suppress the truth in unrighteousness Christ still died for you, loves you, and wishes that you come to repentance and faith in Him. Due to the fact that it is a worldview that rejects the supernatural, and therefore also rejects supernatural intuition and the contrast between the carnal mind and The mind of the Spirit, of which the strengthening of the carnal mine grounds a person in the flesh, and the strengthening of the spiritual aspect grounds a person in the supernatural, and that there can be a dualistic nature in childhood fantasy where the child has genuine supernatural intuition but is trying to connect the dots and fill in the gaps with his imagination to make sense of what he's experiencing. However, if a person presupposes that the supernatural doesn't exist, then he will reason in a way that already presupposes it doesn't exist in order to call his position more mature. It's simply a choice. A person can choose not to ignore these intuitions and allow ones self to discover greater reality, or a person can choose to reject those intuitions and explain away his experiences that further imprisons him into this physical reality. A person's reasoning will most certainly enforce his position as an atheist, and likewise, the person's reasoning (or experience) Will enforce once beliefs. It's simply a choice, and it's not more complicated than that. The thought process of the atheist is not more "mature", that is only a matter of perception. That is "the stumbling block". The idea that this reality is all that we see and that we develop our own value and morality has an inherent shallowness to it. It is superficial. He talks about Matthew 10:34-40, but it starts at 28 for full context. Jesus Christ summarized with don’t think I’ve come to bring peace, but a sword. Sword doubles as the word of GOD (HEBREWS 4:12), and justice of Revelation. Word of GOD is both Jesus Christ Himself and the Gospels that contain the wisdom/laws of GOD. The word of GOD has laws that convict us with accountability. If your family rejects that accountability, they lie to themselves thinking it is better to continue in a self destructive path than a constructive path. It is better to be an enemy of liars (humans) than the enemy of truth (GOD) (ACTS 5:25-40). We need to value truth over our own home, Christ over our own home. Truth over our own lives, as the Apostles did, as Jesus Christ did. We don’t need to worry about this life, not that it isn’t valuable, but it isn’t all there is. And if it is, why should people be so quick to shed blood over such a miserable existence? We are accountable for our own soul and those around us, which is ultimately beautiful.
That's why Jacob wanted to know the name of the "Angel" (god, lowercase g, non human homonid of "Divine" origin")after he kicked his a$s all night, and that's PRECISELY WHY the "god" DID NOT WANT TO TELL HIM,
THATS why only Aaron and Moses could talk to YJWH in the tent of meeting, THATS WHY one of the ten commandments was not to make graven images because that's basically like a VOODOO DOLL, I wasn't around back then but apparently if you did it right you could control something just by speaking ones name or having an image of it.

One of the most frustrating things with the Christian view that believing in Jesus is the only way to heaven, is that things should either just be clear or should be revealed when you try to believe it. I really wanted to believe in Christianity, but I found I didn’t have a good reason and no revelation came. So if it’s true I’m left with either the idea that God doesn’t want me to know yet, or I somehow wasn’t earnest like others I see who no less about the Bible than I do. It’s absurd.
You wanted to believe Christianity but it’s more than that you have to live it everyday it’s very hard its easier being a atheist cause you just live with your own rules and do what you want. It’s hard trying to be christian you’ll fail more you’ll fail everyday cause Jesus set a standard that we can’t reach that’s why God sacrificed his only Son so we could have a chance at salvation. But then I realized that I had just trusted the words of my church leaders that their was good evidence and didn’t know it myself. I asked them for the evidence they had and combed through it and other evidence and found that it didn’t actually hold muster. I asked god to give me revealation or guide me to the strong evidence but I had nothing. So I’m left with either he doesn’t want me to know yet or he doesn’t exist, but I couldn’t continue to believe something I didn’t have a good reason for. I don’t particularly regret the time I spent devoted to it, but I can’t bring myself to advocate something I don’t have that confidence in anymore.
You say it’s easy being atheist, but I had to reconstruct my entire worldview from scratch. I had to realize I could do good for goodness sake. "It's called 'hyperbole'."
As soon as he says that ONE THING Jesus said is "hyperbole", he needs to provide a test to determine WHICH THINGS Jesus said were hyperbole and which were literal.
MrGevander a test you can use for it to be hyperbole is to ask does Jesus and the rest of scripture contradicts itself?
The verse I believe he is talking about is:
“If anyone comes to Me and does not hate his father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters, yes, and his own life also, he cannot be My disciple.”
Luke 14:26 NKJV
So then we ask does Jesus actually mean HATE them or in a since make them secondary and put Jesus first and that He should take precedence over all things in our worldly life.

Pursuing greater reality is not superficial, it is to be "profound" or "deep". It's more mature.
@@Bi0Dr01d1.) do not listen to intuitions as if they lead you correctly. They nearly always don’t. 2.) You cannot demonstrate the supernatural. So if you can’t do that, you should NOT believe in it. So all this nonsense about carnal crap is just that, nonsense.

We're hoping to have a whole bunch of cute lil babies so we can teach them about Jesus and we hope and pray that when they grow up they can have a whole bunch of cute lil babies and teach them about Jesus too LOL
If you're trying to argue that atheism produces human flourishing, I'd like to point to increasing anti depression usage, increasing suicidality, shrinking birth rates and general degeneracy in the culture. You don't have any leg to stand on to claim that atheism makes your life better.
When I became atheist my life was WAY better. I didn’t believe in a huge lie and escape the indoctrination, I was able to be more open minded than most religious people, I saw the truth and excepted my reality that I was given. Not the one I wanted. I got to learn things about the world I probably never would have known if I stayed Christian. My depression knowing I might go to hell due to my sexuality and peers went away. My life is so much better than it was before and that’s enough to make me stay atheist, especially when I can prove my beliefs
I have a hard time believing people when they say I used to be an atheist but now I'm a christian because frankly, once you see religion for the BS it is, it's pretty hard to unsee it.

Time is nothing in the face of eternity....
It’s not Hyperbole, I personally think they were caught off guard. People say the most valuable thing is human life yet degrade it and destroy it every day, completely contradicting themselves.

What pig ignorance! He lacks any grace, he is totally aggressive. But at least Christians don't scream that they're going to kill you, due to some kind of edict, as some religions do.
