If my message at the end resonated with you and there’s something you’d like prayer for, let me know here - would love to start a little prayer chain with you guys!! 🤍
Your message was exactly what I needed to hear. My husband and I are on a two year TTC journey. Learning to surrender my hopes, my timing and my control has been a struggle during this season. But the first quote you read from your devotional was spot on 💗💗
You have no idea how many times God has used your videos to help me in my faith journey, and even in my new/first-time mom journey. This video resonated with me from the breastfeeding weight loss to the struggle with trusting God and seeing His goodness in tough seasons. Thanks for being so open and vulnerable online. ❤
Thank you for sharing and for the encouragement at the end - we are expecting our first baby any day now and the reminder to surrender everything to the Lord and to trust in Him was so needed! ❤️
i really needed the encouragement at the end of this video. i loved it and im so glad u included it! im in the thick of it right now with a 5 month old and a hudband away for work.but God is so good and praying throughout my day has really helped for me to remember that! washing dishes, praying. taking baby for a walk, praying. etc etc. another lovey video my fellow canadian!
Hey, I don’t know if you know this but drinking a lot of plain water can be dehydrating & flush the minerals out of your system so make sure you’re adding minerals into your water!! It can be as simple as adding salt!
Thank you Beth. I could really use prayer for my out of control morning sickness. Im coming up to the end of the first trimester but I don't know when it will end. I don't want to eat or drink anything, especially not water! Also I had to stop working because of it and my husband isn't working right now. He's in school for a few more months. So your ending message does resonate very much about trusting God. You were on my mind, I believe because God wanted me to hear that, and when I opened UA-cam your video came up first. He is very aware of each one of our needs. God bless you.❤
You’re not alone! I was also extremely sick and vomiting several times a day until the middle of my 2nd trimester. I stopped working as well and my husband was finishing up his masters in college! Our story sounds so similar 😅 I will pray for you and your husband. This is just a season and it’s all totally worth it. Remember your body is doing it’s best for your baby! Give yourself grace and try to drink water even though it’s the last thing you want! ❤️ so excited for you on this journey. One day the nausea will be a distant memory!
I loved your message at the end. It definitely resonated with me, so thank you! I'd like to encourage you to continue to share those things with us because you have a gift - your understanding of the Lord's word and how he works in your life is so refreshing and lovely to hear! On a different note, I was struck by the fact that you weren't feeling your best so you sought help (in this case from a naturopath). It was a very simple reminder for me that yes I am a tired mother of lots of little ones, but feeling unwell regularly is not a requisite for the job! Sometimes our solutions in life are as simple as asking for help. Thank you for modeling that for me.
Thank you so much! 🥺 Yesss I'm a big believer in asking for help when you know something is off (beyond just the baseline motherhood exhaustion haha). It can be so hard on the day-to-day to make taking care of yourself a priority, but we do all still have the ability to make a change when we aren't at our best. I hope you're able to take care of yourself today, too ❤
Oh yes our health is so important especially as mamas!💗 I have been struggling with very similar symptoms since having my daughter (brain fog, fatigue, mood swings, light headedness, etc.), so I can totally resonate. The "brain fog" especially feels like I'm stuck behind plastic wrap which makes it hard to feel present with my family. Wishing you answers & peace on your wellness journey! Thank you for your openness x
Thank you so much for your encouragement! I’m a first time mom of a 7 month old and I have struggled to find godly sources that not only help me feel I am growing as a mother but as a woman of God. With so many social media platforms and UA-camrs out there it’s refreshing to have found your channel. God always provides for those who love and trust in him. Your channel was an answer to prayer to find a godly source of info and place to find encouragement. God bless you and your beautiful family. He will provide for you! P.s. I would love to know what devotional you’re going through right now. Thank you! ❤
I have never commented on a video, but I wanted to say thank you for all of the encouragement you give and for allowing the Holy Spirit to lead you in your content! The end of this video was exactly what I needed today! You have a beautiful heart and family ❤
Thank you for being such an encouragement and light in my day! Love watching your videos as I’m currently two weeks postpartum and have a 20 month old and it’s been harddddd.
Thank you for this! I can relate to a lot in this video 😅 I too feel total burnout, also 9 months postpartum and have a 2 year old. It definitely takes a toll on our bodies. Working through a lot of trusting God in provision in all areas of life! Praying for you and your family ❤ also- not that I’m happy to hear your little guy isn’t sleeping well, but I can relate. My little guy isn’t getting enough sleep in the night and fighting napping. You’re not alone!
I’ve actually never commented before..but thank you for this video! It’s kinda crazy because I also have two babies 15 months apart basically 5 months behind you so I love seeing where your little family is at because it gives me a glimpse into my short terms future! Also thank you for what you shared at the end. It was totally an answer to prayer for me in some big financial decisions my husband and I are making so it was very inspired!
Great encouragement! So important to remember God’s promises to us to always be with us. James tells us to consider it joy when we face trials because often times God is pulling us into a deeper belief in Him. But that usually means we feel that pressure! Also important why we need to be in the word outside the trials so it can help us through those hard times when God feels far away! And thanks for the reminder to drink water! I also have two under two 15 months apart! The exhaustion is real!
Thanks for sharing. The same health things happened to me postpartum. When you were speaking it was like I was hearing myself! I also recently went to a naturopath and I already feel better. Blood works at my doctor came back “great” but I was a dizzy beanpole who didn’t feel well. 18 months postpartum now and I’m starting to feel better. Hope you feel better soon!
I feel like “things breaking” is very common when you buy a house. It happened to my husband and I too, in the first year we bought, everything was breaking. The car, plumbing, lighting etc. It was really frustrating. 2nd year in, things really smoother out and it’s all good again :) God is good, we just have to trust him ❤
Yes 100%! We are so grateful for this home but it's also been a WILD ride of expenses over the last year 😂 hoping and praying we also see things level out for a while!
An acupuncturist...elderly asian lady..take that for what you will...told me to actually watch out for the nut butters, nut milks, seeds, etc...because they are an inflammatory and in the west we overdo it by overmarketing it as healthy and substituting all dairy with a giant surplus of nuts and seeds
lol I was watching the jam portion thinking there's no way it was going to set.... next time try just the recipe in the certo box for cooked jam - still super easy and delicious, we go through so many jars every year! Also recommend cooking method bc I'm not convinced the jars would seal properly without the heat meaning they'd likely go bad before you got to using it all.
Love this video! Thank you so much for sharing ❤ I actually have been going through something very similar with postpartum and also have been seeing a naturopath. And it really has helped! For me one of the things I found out was that my blood sugars are low for a breastfeeding momma so every time I was feeding I would have dizzy spell afterwards with ringing ears and numbness. But now that I know this I have been able to increase my amounts of food, drink more water and take vitamins that help me! I hope you find what works for you and what your body needs postpartum as well and that you feel better soon, sending you lots of love ☺️💕
Oh my gosh I totally have the same thing with the dizzy spells + ringing ears - low blood sugar could definitely be a culprit. Been prioritizing getting more quality meals + snacks in (and water hahaha) and it's already helped so much!
@@BethGraceMoore yes!! ♥️ glad I am not alone in it either! Yeah my naturopath thought thyroid too but everything for that was normal cause I also lost a lot of weight at the start. I have just been adding a lot of protein to my diet through protein powder and seeds like you had mentioned. And then recently my naturopath actually told me to try an electrolyte in my water so I can have that while I nurse. Also like you said adding healthy fats helps too! I have been really loving the recipes from nourished by nic she is a fellow Canadian and she has some good granola bar and protein ball recipes that I make 🥰
@@BethGraceMoore also try putting a water reminder on your phone! I did this for the first little while when I started experiencing the dizziness and it’s helped me prioritize drinking more water and also just habit stacking so having water before and after I feed with lots of ice 😋
I am 100% where you are at! Many symptoms (dizzy, fatigue, heart palpitations, etc), second baby as well (2.5 years and 8 months), my little guy also isn't sleeping at night and naps are best spent on me and I really struggle to slow down and take care of myself. Maybe once the kids are past toddler age it'll be easier?
It's definitely part of the season with babes that are so dependent! Firm believer that we CAN still feel better in this crazy season though, even if we're still tired. I think the baseline exhaustion is pretty normal but things like dizziness, fatigue, heart palpitations etc can be a sign of something else going on and would deff be worth looking into! It's important to take care of yourself too ❤
Hi! Thank you for the encouraging video, needed that! I am also facing unwanted weight loss postpartum, as well as eczema on my hands. Tried ayurveda and homeopathy for the latter but would love to hear what works for you. Much love your way!
I usually do a little clean up 3x per day! Once in the morning, once in the afternoon after lunch time and then again before bed. Everything has a place and we are also pretty minimal with things which makes cleaning more manageable for me!
Funnily enough I’m not super religious though I do believe in God and his power, and I really think he put this video in my view for me to see; my husband and I just started trying to have kids and it’s so hard to not be obsessive and say “turn the page!” But your words were such a good reminder that God has a plan for us and I just have to surrender 💕
Only through hardships and difficulties, we can know how faithful we are to God. Only through hardships and difficulties, we can develope those characteristic that are necessary for a true believer such as patience, perseverance e.t.c.
First time commenter here… First of all, I also lost muscle mass in my legs after giving birth to my son. But I could NEVER lift a dryer with my husband. You’re a boss, for real. Second, thank you for the encouragement at the end. I, too, and struggling to give control to the Lord in the hard days. Thirdly, I also tried to make jam recently, but I completely ruined it. Glad I’m not the only one. Now, let’s all give this day to God, and go drink some water. 🥳
Thanks for making yourself known 😏 Hahaha honestly you probably could! It was surprisingly lighter than I anticipated. Glad the encouragement resonated with you AND that I'm not alone in the jam struggle. Hope you're happy and hydrated!!
I had to change my diet limit like dairy, gluten, certain veggies and fruits etc. It ended up helping him so much then doctor wanted me to add things back into my diet and he seemed to be fine. but it did help with his stomach issues.
I’m still looking for the large crinkle book for babies you had on another video. I click on link but it says it’s no longer. Can you please direct me as to where I can find that larger crinkle book???
Hey!! I'm not 100% which one you're referring to - is it one about colours? If so, that one was limited edition so it's likely unavailable now but I know Manhattan Toys makes a bunch of crinkle books that are more aesthetic haha
I’m the same way when breastfeeding I lose a lot of weight an it feels unhealthy but I’m eating a lot. Also my son was dairy intolerant an he didn’t show an signs of rashes.
I’ve never seen jam made that way! I’ve always done the stovetop method and then water bath canning. What is the product you added after sugar? I’m guessing it’s a jelling agent? Edit….just got to the part where you said it’s pectin. Lol
I say this because my partner and I are beginning our family of littles in December and I'm curious about how to introduce Jesus into their/our lives more. I trust God will lead me, but if you have ever thought about talking about what books you read your kids about God or how you all invite God into your lives more.. I support it!

For your eczema... get SULFUR SOAP. Dr. Wongs or Dr. Kulfur any sulfer soap will help before putting medicated creams & ointment

I am looking forward to following your weight gain journey as I am in the same boat

You can just boil the jam! I made mine in the microwave and set it with lemon, no pectin required.
