That is interesting. I have been coming to Q for years and half the fun is the discovery and half the struggle is aiming your rig in the right direction.lol
I kept a few gallons of water in my truck to be able to take a bath every day. I used only about a half gallon of water every day to bathe and rinse it off.
That is great. Yep you got it going on. I got my warm bottle shower down to 3/4 of a gallon, however a gallon and a half is luxury every 4 days. About 12 gallons of water per week is all I use in the van for cooking and showering.
I've camped at Quartzite. I even met Bob Wells there. Good info and you mentioned/showed some good places. There's a Carl’s Jr. and a local library in town, too. I've been to nearby Blythe, California and I've camped near Parker and I took a day trip up to Lake Havasu.
The library is nice and they offer decent wi-fi for those that don't have boosters for their campsite. This weekend's episode features Parker. Hope you tune in!
We wish you all the best. Here's a video we did that will give you some things to think about in your planning. ua-cam.com/video/ymvw-gKnmok/v-deo.html

We just repainted the motorhome last year & you can watch the process in our renovation series: tinyurl.com/f75bn5rj Thanks for watching and commenting! Safe Travels!
Thank you. If you can visit the tent during the weekdays it's much easier to see everything. Our video this weekend will show you places to see and camp for cheap north of Quartzsite in Parker and Lake Havasu.

Best of luck and thanks for following! Arizona's LTVA is a great way to stretch your boondocking length of time and dollars, yet, not be totally without necessities.
It depends on how much one drives and the climate the vehicle is operated in. Yep after covid I stopped driving and only have to change my car oil every 3 years, and my motorcycle oil every 9 months to stay compliant. Love my e-bike and the near by Family Dollar store.
I've been to both Quartzite and Imperial Dam LTVA. and I can tell you that Imperial Dam has less riff Raff and trash lying around, in my opinion Imperial Dam is better 😊 Hot shower, flush toilets, mail service, propane, trash, The lakes and the river is right there and Yuma is only 20 miles away 👍
I agree with you but Imperial dam is 20 miles from major grocery stores. For even less "drama mama people" try Pilot Knob or the one just inside California on the road to Calexico.
The "Q" is very easy to deal with. Stay away from that area between the months of november thru march. Thats the best time to explore the many other places in the deserts of the southwest.
That's my concern. Businesses both permanent and seasonal depend on seasonal campers. And as we mentioned in the video, so many have found a way to legally keep a "roof" over their head by spending the season in the Q. Plus they can work seasonally too.
Whenever you get a million temporary residents, you'll have a mix of people. There's people of all financial situations. But that's why we prefer the LTVAs. People tend to do a better job at keeping their site under control vs the Free 14 day areas.
@@RoamingWithRosieThis is my fourth season at LTVA West...it has always been free of garbage, etc. I don't judge people by their vehicle, only their actions...I've met amazing people here, found life-long friends, and some of the (as you say) "riff raff" are very smart, creative people that have taught me a thing or two about off-grid living. What LTVA area would you suggest for convenience, to access the dump and water fill ? We stayed a scaddard wash last year, but had to pay for dump and water at a local rv park. I would rather pay the 6 month fee and fill and dump more often, plus we can go to imperial if we want near senator wash area.
This year there are trash dumps at all 4 LTVAs. I believe that Fresh water is only at La Posa South as well as sewer dump stations. They built and were supposed to open a large sewer dump station & fresh water at Tyson Wash LTVA last year, but it didnt work and sits unused. During January we pay to dump black tank so we don't waste a whole day in line. We get fresh drinking water in town from vending machines.
@@RoamingWithRosie My cat and alley cat looks at me crossed eyed when I get near their litter box. Putting water in poo to transport it away creates more and more poo wast water. New push for compliance with regard to vehicle registration. Don't bring a car here and think just because it has an out of state or country license plate that registration can be ignored. The party is over and ADOT wants it revenue. Zero tolerance for unregistered or expired tags. Large fines and even impounding is coming. Just obey the laws and everything is good!
Like yea, I agree and in the same breath most of us are all natural. It is the way I was born. Reality is greater than perception. My cats do not care.
@Bojhjjj yes. in the video we show where those are in Quartzsite. The video also explains those are 14 days in a 28 day period, and then you must move at least 25 miles away. Hope that helps.
Please hang in there. It's a GoPro for most. There is no separate track for each audio. But, we will have some additional new equipment for next year from Black Friday deals, which costs a lot more than what we currently get from youtube. I'm sure you understand the cost based on your channel name.
They raised the price to keep the riff raff out. Pretty soon camping will become illegal thanks to the Don. And where's all that money$$$ going it's not to fix up the place for that kind of money you could ar least have a shower . Almost no one working there in fact they have volunteers to help out. Because no one's getting paid to work where's the money going????
Trump has nothing to do with how the BLM spends its money. The BLM gets federal money to pay their bills, they are NOT permitted to make a profit. They do control their own budget. The meetings they are required to hold for "public opinion" mean nothing. They will do what they want to do anyway.

Keep your clothes on. Old people naked is scary
You'll live.
Like yea, I agree and in the same breath most of us are all natural. It is the way I was born. Reality is greater than perception. My cats do not care.
@bobmirror7164 my cat doesn't either. He just adores me
Thanks for excellent info👍. This might be the year! 🚙🤗🏜️🌞. Enjoy the road!
Hope you make it out. Safe Travels!
@@RoamingWithRosie thanks! 🌞🚙🏜️
Is there still just regular bare BLM land that you can camp on for free?
@Bojhjjj yes. in the video we show where those are in Quartzsite. The video also explains those are 14 days in a 28 day period, and then you must move at least 25 miles away. Hope that helps.
Please put the person on the left on the left audio tract or please mix each mic to both channels.
Please hang in there. It's a GoPro for most. There is no separate track for each audio. But, we will have some additional new equipment for next year from Black Friday deals, which costs a lot more than what we currently get from youtube. I'm sure you understand the cost based on your channel name.
@@RoamingWithRosie Swap the microphones. Also, I see you editing with one input track going onto both edited tracks.
@CFPVideoProductions new mics and new camera for the new year. Thanks for your advice
Your solar can’t keep up with your TWO air conditioners? OH YOU POOR BABIES!!!!!!
No complaining on our end. Just educating. Cheers!
I heard there is BLM land in Quartzsite that is free for camping. Is that true?
@karenbrown2135 yes. We explained each of the areas, rules, and maps in the video.
My tip is -I don’t boondock 🤷♀️ No thanks
They raised the price to keep the riff raff out. Pretty soon camping will become illegal thanks to the Don. And where's all that money$$$ going it's not to fix up the place for that kind of money you could ar least have a shower . Almost no one working there in fact they have volunteers to help out. Because no one's getting paid to work where's the money going????
The price hasn't been raised yet. It's for next Fall. But they don't even have enough staff to make sure everyone there has a sticker right now.
Trump has nothing to do with how the BLM spends its money. The BLM gets federal money to pay their bills, they are NOT permitted to make a profit. They do control their own budget. The meetings they are required to hold for "public opinion" mean nothing. They will do what they want to do anyway.
Always a political troll showing up...
BS! Get your facts straight!!
