I grew up half my school years in Parker. My Uncle and my father started a camp near the Echo lodge Bend. It was called Silver Saddle camp ground. It's changed hands and names over the last 50 plus years. I remember hearing the ski boats running open headers all summer long on the river. Good memories.
We stayed at River Island and down the road at Buckskin a few of times. March was not too hot but June and October were very hot. The scenery is very beautiful and Buckskin has a nice long beach to get in the water. Loud speed boats on the river early in the morning is annoying if you like to sleep in.
Great video guys! Even though I am from Arizona, I've never been to several of the places in your video. I camped at Lake Havasu State Park for the first time last year!
Thanks for the video. I haven't spent much time in Parker or Havasu I would like to stay at a park where dogs can go on the beach. My nephew thanks you for stopping at IN and Out. He is a quality assurance inspector.
Hey Linda and Jamie this was so great to watch we marked all the campsites on our maps. We have seen the London Bridge area before but this was one of the best. We are excited to make it to Lake Havasu. That casino was a perfect place to stay the indoor pool looks like fun and the camp spot was great! Another well done video with so much helpful information! Excellent!😊
Yes! There will be. We just met up with Marc Guido of @grandadventure this week for some hiking in New Mexico. Head on over to the FB Group facebook.com/share/1DDwzjrzzJ/
Thanks for the heads-up, RWR. This looks great. It sounds like the temps are either hot or they are cold with a rather short autumn and spring transition period between the two. Would that be correct? I live in Texas and we get rather long transition periods. Mid October is when the heat gives way to very nice low 80's. Then November brings the 70's. And December brings the 60's and still some 70's. January through February is our winter followed by March which is like December and April which is like November. And May which is like October. Gord
Must be ok since there were quite a few fishing along the river. We don't fish so we can't tell you more about that. Kayaking is a float along that stretch and depending on boaters can be really nice.
I didn’t know it was that hot here, but not surprised now that I think about it. It’s desert.. I’m from Oz and not been to Arizona but one day.. curious of the place with no ocean.
Thank you so much for covering all the places that I’ve wanted to stop along the way passing through! Great video thanks again, Thomyt
Glad you enjoyed it! Great to hear from you! Let us know if you're in AZ this winter. We'll be Roaming Around
Great info.
Well done video.
Thanks
Thanks for watching! 😊

I think we were there at a good time. Midweek before winter people show up.

We lived in AZ for almost 30 years, and this was the first time we saw a lot of these areas. Thanks.

Oh that's cute about your nephew. We'll be bouncing all around there this season. Will we see you in the Q?
Fantastic video! Tons of useful info and i have researched the area since we visit every October and visit Cattail Cove State Park
Glad you found our video helpful and we hope you have a wonderful visit next time.
Thanks for showcasing these places. We live in high desert of So Calif so they are not to far to getaway to and spend couple days.
And much warmer than the high desert in Winter too. Hope you get to check it out in person.

I’m from Oz and not been to Arizona but one day.. curious of the place with no ocean.
And it's the low desert. So it gets much hotter than higher elevation deserts in the Southwest. But it's perfect in the winter. Thanks for watching.
You shared some places in planning on checking out. Thanks.
thanks for watching. We're glad it was helpful!
Thanks for the information 🎉. I hope to get down there soon.
Glad it was helpful!
How much was the full service RV park? My wife is a full hookups gal.
Not sure about the private RV parks. The Island State Park in Parker was about $30 a night for electric and water site. Thanks for watching!
Do you need to make a reservation at the Bluewater Casino to park there?
No. It's 1st come 1st gets the shoreline sites. The upper parking lot is pretty big. Although not completely level.
Google Bluewater Casino scroll rv park. Yes, you need to reserve and get the club card you get a discount.😮
How long can you stay there?
You can stay in the LTVA the entire season mid Sept thru April 15 with a 180 day pass.
Can I camp with small car 😅sir❤❤
@@SonnyVuong Possibly at the State Park. You can tent camp.
The music makes this tough to listen to
I'm sorry. It changes volume depending on your device settings.
