It's one of the best beers I've ever had the pleasure of drinking. Lovely stuff.
A fresh bottle of this was a lot less fruity, more malty, and really not murky like that, so the aging process had a big effect on this ;)

Needs to really make contracts with lead distributors and maybe do a pink elephant mascot, do some commercials and marketing

Allagash Tripel is the best American Belsian style ale I've had. I had 3 cases and aged them from 3 to 5 years. I found that 3 years was the sweet spot. 4 years was about the same and 5 years was too sweet. At the 5 year mark I felt the flavor suffered because the sweetness began to dominate the flavor. The Allagash is excellent fresh, but is glorious after 3 years. At that point it's as good as the very best Belgium Tripel. However, for something out of this world spectacular I'll have a St. Bernardus Quad.
That beer on draft( draught) is one tasty libation.
When I tried this i found it to be rather dull, very malty, and not anything like you described. A bad batch perhaps? I don't know, it seems aging is the key with this brew.
Yep, I agree. It seems aging is mandatory for this type of beer. But I don't mind waiting as I have plenty of other beers to drink while I wait.
