Talking about and the crews opinions of the Dewalt Cordless Screw Gun as well as the Makita Cordless & Hilti Cordless Screw Gun. Unfortunately i didn't install the belt clip so it wasn't very useful. Hallo . Greetings to you. Makita is really good. They are all really good. Hilti is more expensive but may save you in the long run. DeWalt I can't comment on too much. Have not used it enough

    Here in Scotland seems to be the makita collated is the most common , im on my sixth makita collated as is my brother . Some guys do have hilti and like you say it is slightly better to use , but tends to only be guys that lease all their tools from hilti that use them over here because of the cost . Used both dewalt and Milwaukee, dewalt is ok but a bit more delicate than makita/hilti and jams more often . Milwaukee is just useless the auto stop start is great but everything else is so bad from build quality to availability of small part and a LOT of jams . Just from my personal experience , love these comparison vids though 👌

    Hilti is the best and nothing comes close imo. I screw 1000-3000 screws per day. I only work with metal profiles though, and not wood. Try screw Makita gun on plywood in a metal profile, good luck with that.

    Hilti are by far the best collated screw gun!! Be pushed to see any dryliner using anything other than a hilti in the uk and they last three times as long as a makita

    I have bought makita, and it's not good, it keeps jamming, needs constant cleaning, already have changed one head attachment, and I just can't use it in internal corner. Not much of use of it. My next one was aeg collated screw gun, much better than makita, but can't screw into internal corner.

    I’m looking to buy new collated screw gun... what is the best makita or DeWalt??

    • @Maxkil
      @Maxkil  4 роки тому

      Good question, the DeWalt I've only used it a few times, and silly me I didn't have the belt clip so we couldn't give it a good run so I can't give you an honest answer. Makita is proven though.

      I gone through a couple of makitas, they keep jamming. I’ve recently changed the screws to the DeWalt collated screws they seem to go better with makita. Just wanted to know if the DeWalt is better. Would be cool if you guys could dive the DeWalt a good run and compare 👍 cheers

    Just bought the Festool. I am an amateur, but first impression is very solid. Easy to use, and powerful. The auto-function is cool. But it was not cheap, so probably a stupid buy for an amateur like me. 😂

    So perhaps it's a translation issue from down under to up and over, but I came away unclear if the thing didn't come with a clip or did you just forget to bring it? I suppose I should finish watching the rest of the show before I post, but I choked on THIS:
    JUST HOW LONG IS THAT BOARD, ANYWAY???? 20'? Nay - looks more like 24'? If those windows are 3' wide, that must be 24!!! Hurts my hernia just watching!

      How's my Roo? Still love the old Foster's ad: Australian for Locksmith....
      Fine - after shopping this gadgie it appears to be something with the std screwgun, not the automatic, collated attachment that's a separate purchase anyway? So I'm pretty certain there'd be a clip w/ the screwgun, although our version may hang the thing up-side-down for you.
      BUT --- how about that board length????

    The downside to the Dewalt is there is a reverse button right next to the trigger that can be accidentally hit...
    Seriously tho, who uses a fuckin reverse button on a collated gun?

    • @juliodolmus5720
      @juliodolmus5720 3 роки тому +1

      Just by that question I see you havent used autofeed screw guns often. The reasons these attachment based autofeed are soo popular is due to sometimes user error occurs when feeding so some screws wont dive in all the way or hit a void. The point of the reverse is for you to remove the autofeed attachment and remove the screw of correctly drive it in. Then reattach the attachment and continue.

    • @TheOfficialDjProduct
      @TheOfficialDjProduct 2 роки тому +1

      I think the collated for Dewalt is just an attachment that can be put on any Dewalt screwgun. We never used collated guns (even when hanging lids), just got really fast at feeding screws from hand to the gun. When I was new I was taught a trick for if I missed the stud to get the screw out fast. Put it in reverse, run it, put it on the screw, then you could jerk the screw out and easily pull it out by hand.
