Nice job, straight forward. I pretended I was you the other day, rewiring a bathroom heater. I only said lovely about 4 times. I wish you and family merry Christmas. Take the break and enjoy yourself!
Good for you Curtis! Love that you are making time for you and your wife at Christmas. First time I have seen one those videos you show where the flue box was not rusted out on a gas pack unit. Not an HVAC tech myself, but you have tight spaces like we have in automotive. Love watching you work!
Nice fix on another unit requiring Contortionist skills. Thank you for another year of interesting and useful videos, and I hope you have a very Merry Christmas.
Thank You Curtis, that was a good repair job... Merry Christmas to you the family... We are expecting a 26c Christmas Day 100kms south of Sydney, a nice day for a Turkey / ham dinner with a beer or two 🎁 Au
Seems like the more and more they make things "efficient" the less reliable things are. Requiring more parts changes out, thus having to produce more parts. So how much "efficient" is it?
I know you deal with rheem/ruud and it looks like you don't come across trane as much in your area. Next time you run into a trane pack, you can remove that pressure switch and free up some space. Only two 1/4 inch screws hold it in place right above it. Makes a good difference, especially in conditions like that.
Have a Merry Christmas 🎄 Curtis you deserve it, your content has really been helpful for me I’m currently in the field and going on my second year, and would like to possibly move over to service residential. Any advice. Thanks again Curtis for all you do have a blessed one.
could have used red rtv hi temp for the seal might not keep good pressure and it will be another call back or rember to ask for seal next time. MERRY CHRISTMAS CURTIS GOOD VIDEO fyi slow down take a breath
Thank you brother. Well my Irish are going to play the Dawgs. I'm not sure if ND can hang with Ga but that's why they play the game. ND does play better at away games so I think that will help but we will see. At least it won't be in the 20's in the sugar bowl lol. I hope
A Tampa based UA-camr and family were wearing their puffy winter parka's three weeks ago. If I remember correctly temps were in the high 40's F. Which only proves your body prefers warmth. I'd be quite comfortable in Georgia or Florida, where I live tonight will be 10 F with the wind feels like -10 F.
I'm not sure complaining about failing capacitors and bad ECM motors is really complaining as much as it is stating fact. Capacitors fail. ECM motors suck. You're just talking about reality! It seems like we're trading quality for efficiency which, in my opinion, isn't more efficient. Merry Christmas Curtis!! Relax, enjoy the holidays!!
Is it just me, or does that system look too new to be rusting out already? We have lots of propane systems in our area that certainly have a lot of rust but most are quite old. That system appears to be fairly new.
It looks like getting us a good view often makes it harder for you. We sure appreciate it! Merry Christmas Curtis and family!
Appreciate that, Merry Christmas to you and your family too!
The condenser is worth more than the house
IKR, I was wondering what that glass was about in that shed or whatever it is. Terrarium ? Aquarium?
Christ was born in a stable.
Merry Christmas Curtis!!
Merry Christmas to you too!

Take care and God Bless.
I’ve replaced 3 of those trane gaspack inducers already this season lol. Easy money

Merry Christmas to you and your family, Curtis. I’ve been a student of yours for a couple of years. I really like your style. God Bless You, Sir.
That unit looks cleaner than 90% you work on. Must be holding tons of moisture.
I noticed that too. How can it look that good and the blade on that fan rusted out? Mystery
@@jthonn Exactly.
Merry Christmas Curtis! Now I know why my induced fan motor starts before the rest of my furnace. Learned that from you today. 😊
Happy Christmas to you and yours Curtis from the UK
Merry Christmas Curtis.
When mine failed several weeks back all I had was a very weak hum from the motor. The one rusted bolt made my changeout troublesome.
Nice fix on another unit requiring Contortionist skills. Thank you for another year of interesting and useful videos, and I hope you have a very Merry Christmas.
Merry Christmas to you from Mt pleasant Michigan

Go talk to the service manager. And yours. Make sure they know you want it when there’s an opening.
Mery Christmas, Curtis

If the switch says yes it's a go if the switch says no she won't fire up yo! That's how u tell do u got u a good seal on the fire flue box.
I usually don’t get extremely excited over this stuff working under deress is a common thing
Code?? 24” working clearances in front of Unit
Hey Curtis , Merry Christmas to you & your family, God bless... Jesus is the Reason. Stay warm & safe out there.

Double layers at 50 -60 degrees. 😅 must be Georgia.

Curtis, I hope that you and your family are able to have a Christ filled Christmas.
DAMN... that place looked umm sorta sketchy! .... i know you could handle it tho... SFMF
Hello Curtis, how do you manage to keep your nice wristwatch from getting scratched?
What is that thing behind your drivers seat with. The big wires connnected to it

@ oh okay cool thanks for replying
New gasket ,remove old

Merry Christmas Curtis!! Relax, enjoy the holidays!!
Sorry but UA-cam is preventing me from watching your videos. Claiming I have an ad blocker. I never experienced this until right now!
The unit itself looks to new for a rusted hamster cage fan.😮
Lot's of condensation and poor metallurgy. The unit being fairly new, I'm surprised it's not warranty, or maybe it was and Curtis didn't mention it?
Do you not have 24 inch service clearance in your code down there. People are stupid i swear
Yes. But t ought to be obvious the person who installed this didn’t pull a permit.
Yeah, as Curtis noted, no gas supply service shut off valve either. That's required everyone I've worked.
The cabinet of that unit looks way too new to have a rusted to pieces inducer wheel.
Is it just me, or does that system look too new to be rusting out already? We have lots of propane systems in our area that certainly have a lot of rust but most are quite old. That system appears to be fairly new.
I'd take reliability over efficiency any day.
Unit doesn’t look that old…why is the blower wheel corroded? Hmmmm.
