    Probably a call where the owner was having issues and thought some maintenance would fix it. Which is not uncommon. Sometimes units are beyond help and replacing them is the economic solution. Good work.

    Leak is pretty substantial. good find. That Trane has run out of track. I had the old one 36 years ago, it took Katrina to kill it. It was getting rusty but worked like a charm. It's the old saying, they don't make them like they use to. Good video

    Hey Curtis, of HVAV Guy not easy being cheesy. I like your podcast/social media, looking thru some comments??? Those all steel frame coils only last 25 years tops. But again it was an engineer who design that coil, not an scientist. Those coils are just some big old thermocouple/battery and will corrode the copper tubing. Looks like time for new up grade. Love you buddy, happy holidays.

    Does your PM service include landscaping? I think if put a blurb in there somthing like " Customer is responsible for keeping foliage at least ENTER inches from outdoor unit, and changing filters ENTER. blah blah blah. Merry Christmas Curtis, and thanks for the knowledge and entertainment!

    Great catch might as well condemn the whole system try to sell that new inverter system for sure and tell him to trim the shrubs and explain to customers how those shrubs ruined his system by not letting airflow over it therefore overheating the system etc…. Merry christmas

    You just tell people how important it is to keep the plants away from the equipment. Yet they still let bushes grow up and all around, and still don't understand why if falls...

      keeping the coil clean is key for keeping system in balance, having good air flow is the secord key.

    Is a heat strip thats controlled by a contactor instead of a sequencer hard on the electrical system? Can it lead to brownouts?

    • @everettstevenson2111
      @everettstevenson2111 11 годин тому +1

      there are sequencer start relay there, if not it would have burned up the main relay switch. NEC all electric motors and electric heat shall rated for 125% for it's normal ampere rating.
