Rob is actually classically trained Austin is trained in Musical Theatre if you want a shock you can react or listen to Two Country Singers Try Singing Opera Nessun Dorma on Austin’s Channel.
I don’t know if you know but Austin is leaving the group in the fall.
He is leaving because he wants to be home more and start a family 😊
Plus he and Amberly have been talking about running a wildlife sanctuary of some sort. I don't think he's leaving music altogether, or not coming back to hie Home Free brothers occasionally.
These guys do an amazing job of this song! They can do any genre including R&B. Rob's voice has so much feeling & soul in it. Austin adding his higher tones, Chance is holding down the bass in the back, Tim adding some deeper bass notes & Adam with his fabulous vocal percussion. These guys are my favorite a cappella group out there. Shawn Stockman from Boyz II Men was one of the judges on the "Sing Off" that Home Free won & he was a big fan of these guys from the start. I'm sure he loved their version of this song.

I happened to catch you today reacting to one of my favorite Home Free videos. I loved your reaction and your analysis, especially regarding Adam Rupp. After you highlighted what he was doing, it was easier to hear it. Adam takes his job seriously and is always finding ways to improve and surprise us. Also, when Tim was singing higher, Chance was in the background doing bass. This group is deep in their abilities to sing more than what one would expect. Thank you so much for a good lesson today. I’ve subscribed to hear more Home Free, but will also listen to other groups. Rob's had extensive opera training; Austin's degree is in Music Theater. Rob & Adam Rupp are both from Minnesota; Tim is from southeast Texas; Chance is from Alabama and Austin's from south Georgia. I can usually tell which one is singing not just by the range (Tim has 5+, Chance 4 octaves) but by their accents.
Tim is actually the baritone line and Chance is mimicking the bass.
These guys can sing any genre and do it competently. I love the constant synth sound....how do they do it???

I've been a Boyz II Men fan since their first hit and I always thought if someone covered their "End Of The Road" I wouldn't like it. So I have to admit that I'm wrong. Everything is so good about this, but especially Rob. Rob nailed it with his voice full of soul, so sweet and warm!❤

I thought chance was doing the bass line in this and tim was just singing harmonies with the tenors until the lower drops.... just s little more burried in the mix. Ill have to go back and pay closer attention.
