My problem with Horus is the price for a silicon strap…yes silicon, as told to me by “an authorized Horus AD” on a watch group. Despite the designs (which I like), I can’t justify their prices for silicon no matter how well they are designed/engineered. Zealande is a great alternative to Everest, RubberB, and obviously Horus, and are cheaper than all three…and I have purchased 2 of them. Small company and at least when I bought them the owner/CEO of the company interacted with me directly and gave me a discount.
I could have missed it but I didn’t see where you got the brown leather strap you wore on your Grand Seiko GMT. I love that strap and was hoping you would mention it. Thank you!
It's funny how a car tyre which has loads of rubber and undergoes a lot of testing and a complex manufacturing process and can literally save your life in an emergency braking situation is cheaper than some of these bands. Total rip-off and it cannot be justified by any R&D or craftsmanship or material costs.
While I mostly agree, major tire companies use economy of scale to sell their tires for cheap. Small strap companies can't do that as easily, also materials to make a strap feel comfortable, breathable, etc. Are likely to cost more.
Is it just me or do rubber straps look cheap in the black color. Black looks good on silicone, but when its rubber they look like a serpentine belt from a car or something.
I cut the keepers also on my nato straps too, as for leather I like colareb,but they are expensive but they seem to look better with age,also rubber is nice but only good quality.Its fun to swop straps for me leather in winter NATO’s summertime
Barton Straps: Fake American! "Designed in Austin (BFD). MADE IN CHINA." Almost exact products and MUCH more available on AliExpress or Alibaba for up to 1/10 the price. Why pay for trendy, misleading marketing? If you are going to wear Chinese, buy direct.

With the locking keeper on the Barton, you don't need the first keeper. Removing it gives you a sleeker strap. Thanks for the video.

Are the rolex Everest straps longer than the Horus straps? I got a pair of Horus but found the straps to be shorter than expected.

Barton are too short I have bought several straps from Barton and not been able to wear any of them. You need a tiny wrist to wear Barton
