Not always. I bought an Evanescence CD years back when they had reasonable popularity here in the UK, and it had a live performance on it. The singing was horrendous.

To me the song speaks of a love that has been broken, and of being there for someone and giving more of yourself, and the frustration of not having that depth of love returned to you.I was going through a divorce at the time that I found this song, and I really related to the lyrics..

I still believe that Amy has the the most technical and powerful women voice present. When you can stand almost 2 ft from the mic and generate that kind of vocal power is amazing. Love you Amy your songs have helped me through the darkest times.
