As a UK citizen (Welsh) I am glad thet your countries have stepped up to the mark. As an ex Royal Navy serviceman I am really disappointed at the uk not sending Typhoons -we build the damn thing near Blackpool, and every week new ones are first tested-there are lots available and training is 5-6 weeks for Ukrainian fast jet pilots (proven)
@@mickeyfilmer5551 You can't send Typhoons for two reasons. Ukrainian pilots are not trained for this fighter and there is not required technological base in ukraine to support operations with this jet. On the other hand, Ukrainian pilots are well familiar with MiG-29 so they can use them from the moment they are delivered.

Poland will provide a minimum of 10 within the next two months. The US has 21 Mig-29's it uses for war games it should give now to Ukraine.

There is zero chance UA pilots could even remotely operate F16 - or any western-made jet in foreseeable future. Migs are the best option what can be delivered.

US and Ukraine have the means to install HARM missiles on both SU-27 and Mig-29. It greatly enhances the Mig-29 capabilities.
