just made a vid about this one .....we fixed the ladder so you can go down the haulage shaft without rope. Great explore at the bottom. Keep'em coming sonny Jim.
I enjoy your mining shows. I envy you very much. I wish I could travel to those places that you go too. I'm diabled, and I don't drive. I love the areas that you go too. I wish I could be with you during your mine visits.
Nice find!! You never know until you explore , huh? Lots of drifts & stopes in that one. They must have found SOMETHING to make them hunt high & low for it. Take care & look forward to next video! C-ya👍
DT, we're going need you to do this mine again . I got lost three times, I was so focused on looking for you flashlight , I forgot which tunnel I was in ! Thank you again for taking us along !
@21:20 there is actually a giant powder box up that sketchy ladder dating to 1916. It would definitely be worth going back up there to check it out, pretty cool find!
Another great video from Desert trails! we all love watching your vid's over here in oz looking forward to your next mine adventure almost forgot I'm pleased you found your flash light lol
Me and my buddy Glenn explored a cool mine out in the Goodsprings area. It was awesome. I’m going to go look for that mine and see if we can find it. It looks like a pretty cool mind to do some exploring in. Maybe even take out a couple samples. LOL that was a wonderful video thanks for all the information
It would be interesting to know more about the history of this mine. Who discovered it and when. Years active., and when and why it was abandoned. Thanks!
The Spring Mountain Range is known for natural caverns in the limestone/dolomite. I have found them in Red Rock below the gypsum mines. Kyle Canyon and Deer Creek junction and several mines in the Yellow Pine Mining District. I never found Kokoweef however. I bet that DT is the one explorer who will!
This makes me want to get out and explore mines. I have a very hard head, but a helmet is still necessary. I am looking at some of the mines in the lower deserts of AZ.
In this mine in particular, the miners had to have worked damned hard drilling blasting and moving that rock around. Have to wonder: did they make any money to make all that effort worthwhile. My sense is, with regard to this mine, these guys were finding gold.
Do you ever stopped and wondered if it it was all worth digging out all those mines, for all that gold and siver, p;lus any other mineral of money value?
I don’t know how have such a certainty when going into a stope and know what part of tunnel doesn’t go any further. From my understanding it seems like it would be geometrical of of knowing when going down a tunnel, whichever one that you go to on these adventures. Probably it’s just your experience.

It would be interesting to know more about the history of this mine. Who discovered it and when. Years active., and when and why it was abandoned. Thanks!
That was quite the mine. Wonder how long it took them to excavate all of that.

outstanding explore....be safe
Long track, but to deep and scary. 💙💙
Great view
It would be funny if someone put an animated monster that springs out and screams via a proximity detector!
Hello from Denmark
Looks like good snake shelters
Was that a $100 special flashlight ?
Nice explore ! So , did you ever find your ''lost'' flashlight on the way back out ?
I think I would get lost in a mine like that! Have you ever gotten lost in one?
Desert oradaki doğa da çok güzel görsel
The poor men that HAD to work and build that all dead now.
Your right it is super dangerous to be in there alone, at least let someone know what mine your going to be at imo.
Always be careful of rattle snakes, especially when you are out there by yourself.
Glow sticks. Drop glow sticks down deep tunnels/pits/shafts of power them via a rope. Or just use a camera and a light on a rope.

enjoyed the video please be safe carry some kind of defence ?
Are you worried about getting lost in a mine this extensive??
I actually thought his flashlight was the black thing between the drill bits as he was coming down that ladder
be nice to comment on rock types...looks like volcanic breccia
I'd have nightmares of not finding my way back out.
So Why not Take a Good Metal Detector with you and do a Little searching. For small gold ..
So who owns The property. All property is owned by someone
Pure insanity.. risking your life with a broken legs or ankle to see absolutely nothing!!! Smh
---> Fifth light lost--- Houston we've got a problem. Maybe time to have a partner for safety reasons my friend.
Do you ever get lost if you do tend to get lost talk to Jesus Christ
