Takes a special kind of a**hole to burn out an antique mine as well as the ones who like their videos doing it. Same caliber of person who feels compelled to riddle everything in sight in an old mining camp with bullet holes or leave graffiti all over the place. I cannot abide people like that. You are a good guy for warning the mine owners.
I believe the phrase is 'one owner, low mileage, never raced or wrecked'. Another great video. I look forward to new videos from you. I always enjoy them and quite often, you go to places my brother and I explored many years ago. It's good to see them again and sometimes sad, to see the damage that mindless idiots have done to them. I'm 74 and live in Arizona now, for many years. I still get out and explore regularly in my old Jeep Cherokee. Thanks again for sharing your adventures.
Glad to see my rubber mats or still in the cabin. Most of us do everything possible including mix video clips from different locations to conceal the locations. Posting the actual names just invites the wrong people.
I explored the Ibex mine area and the cabin 13 years ago. Except for a new visitor's log book in the cabin, it is good to see nothing much has changed. Talc is soft and unstable so those old mines are very dangerous. I never again explored them.

Hello and thank you for all your years of research and discovery 's to make these desert adventures.p.s couple of years ago heard that some explorers we're dropping flare's down mine shafts to see if they were clear to go down .That causes fire's almost every time .Have not heard of this sense the glow sticks and better flash lights .p.s. any way love your outings .Of course be SAFE ⛏️♥️

Many mines in the Death Valley district were scams. Thus you can inspect them not see a sign of mineralization. Read Death Valley and the Amargosa for some amazing history of the mines.,

Nobody cares when the government does it massively. Environmentalist get jobs working for the government and they hate anything to do with mining so they want to destroy it even our history and nobody says a fucking word
I spent years trying to protect mining sites from our government destroying them I give up they have endless resources not to improve the environment. Where do the environmentalist with a screw loose get a job the government are they ever held accountable no. How come there’s so many nuts in our government it’s only place he can get a job and you wonder why we’re so screwed up
And we should create more laws to punish the people that are screwing up everything throw them in jail make more sanctioned areas so we can’t have any management so they burn off like wildfires in California the whole damn forest California is an example for the rest of the state along with parts of Oregon and Washington aren’t they wonderful Burnt now no forestry management no logging no fuel reduction eliminated as many roads as possible so it goes back to natural and fire is natural .

I was there in the mid 80's and I'm sure there was another building besides the cabin, the retaining wall had a road also .
That fire was a flash fire, timber were not scorched, just wondering if the movie company used it for a set?
