    I really wish you would have shown what it's like with full stiffness on the front and rear. I can't be the only one who was waiting for that.
    Overall super impressive and awesome!

    I had both the front and rear sway bars and links changed on my 2021 Polaris rzr Xperia 1000 4, and it was the single most effective mod I’ve done; to day I have $21,000 in modifications…instal is not included in that price. This was my first SXS, so some of the things I bought were not effective. That said, $26,000 for the Polaris White Lighting, and $21,000 in mods; and the Shock Therapy Sway Bars and Links was the single most effective modification…making these machines safe. As a side not, I already have the Shock Therapy dual coils, and IRecomend and love them, but the sway bars and links…in my opinion…are more effective; I felt more difference and control ability in this modification. You guys made this sport…or hobby…safe…this will drastically reduce the chance of roll overs.

      I'm researching sway bars for my HotRod.
      So I watched this "Sway Bar testing" hoping he was going to test the sway bars...
      Regarding off road, especially slow rock crawling stuff, I think sway bars would definitely reduce/limit travel. Thus being counter productive.
      Cheers Aaron.

    People should know why they wan't stiffer sway bars but they don't?
    The stiffness is a trade off and Polaris knows this.
    Sway bars are for high speed cornering. A counter to body roll.
    At lower speed in very rough terrain you should not have them.
    The sway bar does to some degree take away the "independent" in "independent suspension".
    That is why the Wrangler Rubicon got sway bar disconnects with a button for going off road.
    It is just 2 bolts in this setup so only a minute?

    Sway bars have their pro's and cons. If you ride trails with banked turns and lots of rocks, not really ideal to have sway bars from what I've researched. I just snapped my sway bar last weekend on a rocky trail, broke clean in half. So I'm going to try running it without one.

    Sway bars are for on road cars only! For off road take them off and throw them away! That's why they did it on asphalt! Take a jump or ride over a rock with one on and then with then off! You will throw it in the garbage!

      You are sadly mistaken. Every winning trophy truck in the last 10 years has a front and rear sway bar on it. Every wining UTV in the last 3 years in BITD or SCORE has at least one sway bar on it. Check your facts sir.

    @5:33 you get a decent look at the "stock" rear suspension. It looks to have a cross over on the rear and different springs. It's not all compressed. So, this is a video with your sway bar, along with your top tier suspension spring kit??

    • @SirBabyPork

      Shit, a couple seconds later you defiantly get a Perfect look at the Crossover on the rear shock. So this isn't "stock" with your sway bar only.. It's like a $1,500 upgrade without even a re-valve?

    I got a question. how much of the usable suspension travel would you lose if you buy your bar and put it in the stiff mode. Would I want to put it in stiff for fast stuff like the desert. But then put it to loose when i'm in moab doing rocks, and crawling?

    • @ShockTherapyllc
      @ShockTherapyllc  3 роки тому +1

      About 10%. But only in independence. Not total travel. Yes, you would run stiffer in high speed desert compared to looser for rock crawling or trail riding.

    I see no issues with the rear sway bar, but I see a MAJOR potential problem with the front sway bar bolting to the control arm like that. I'm no welding expert, but I've seen enough failed tubular control arms to know that increasing the stress on the weld joint between the bar and the mount is asking for trouble in the long term.

    • @ShockTherapyllc
      @ShockTherapyllc  4 роки тому +1

      I understand your point but this video is quite old. Since we shot this we have sold over 2500 front sway bar kits with zero arm failures that didn't encounter a boulder. LOL

      I agree... I HATE sway bars, but they do have their place....like running on paved roads seeing how fast you can run a solemn... if that's your thang.... I drive slow on rough trails and sway bars SUCK on that. With sway bars I was riding on three wheels most the time, bars off, you suddenly have four wheels on the ground...right where they should be.
