This is a showcase of all the new unique weapons available in the Garden of Eyes overhaul mod for Elden Ring since my last covering of the mod. Garden of Eyes is for Elden Ring and is a massive, in development mod with large scale changes to the world of Elden Ring. I showcased all of the weapons outside of the "True" variants save the serpent hunter spear which relies on a new talisman for full effect. This is a list of over 30 new weapons that were added into the mod and I hope you enjoy this massive showcase. Thanks for watching.

Fun fact: Garden of Eyes is a scam. You have to pay a subscription in order to get updates on a monthly basis, some of the content is stolen from other modders, and the rest are just asset rips from other souls games. There is nothing original, and since it's payed, it's illegal. Do not get GoE.
I hope you understand that there is no single content stolen from other modders at all in the mod (if you want to mention Seamless Coop, it was since removed and apologized for 1 year ago), over 20 completely new designs for armors, over 50 completely new designs for weapons, and dozens of brand new areas and bosses created by our team.

Honestly I never liked Garden of Eyes mod simply because you have to pay for it, which is bullshit but trying to be as objective as possible I have to say that most of these weapons look pretty uninspired, a lot of them just have a different (simetimes very very slightly different) models and different vfx but pretty much identical to others, it just feels uninspired, quantity over quality.
if anything I have to say that this video just makes me appreciate the Convergence mod even more and I am really thankful to the dev team for the awesome work they have put out.
It's worse knowing they make you pay for it MONTHLY in the case it updates, not just one and done. They also claim to "make the mod free when its done", but have said this for previous mods before they rebranded as GoE but never actually followed suit in doing that. They actually have current mods under the GoE rebrand that are complete yet force you to sub still. The mod also hardly even does any overhauling and is just a content dump, adding armors from previous games to even having bosses from previous games. Their original bosses aren't that great either, which most are either projectile vomit or burning your retinas with excessive effects, or just "previous souls boss but X theme" (the Helphen bosses have no unique attacks. they literally ported a cut boss and put a coat of ghostflame paint over it. the animations arent new and are reused from the cut boss that originally comes from Bloodborne.) Oh, and aside from this mod being uninspired and paywalled, they're also generally scummy and GoE's lead has done shady things before. Modding community generally just does not like this guy, and for good reason.
Paywalling for asset flips is always a stupid thing to do. Makes me kinda sad that so many people fall for it though...

@@FlightoftheWicked Agreed, the worst part about people falling for the flashy trailers is that this will set a precedent and unless there is heavy backlash more people will try to paywall their mods.
Convergence is a really good mod, it's well worth the time of anyone who wants Elden Ring to feel fresh again! Plus it can give you a real power trip late-game, it's great.

I really like the fact that Margit's cane randowly swaps from right to left hand without any animation 15:02. And this is also behind paywall.
An absence of sheathe animations on meteoric ore blade made made me laugh my *** off, i mean, that's the quality they ask us to pay for?
This folks, is quantity over quality.
And even quantity isn't something impressive compared to things like The Convergence

How is it that Garden of Eyes hasn’t gotten into legal trouble yet?
Convergence did it so much better... with more creativity, more coziness. And after all Convergence does pretty much everything new or at least with some differences while GoE borrows more ideas from other games and mods.

Borrow is quite an understatement when the "Creator" is literally taking credit for things he didn't do and also just payed others to do the work for him and the ones he did do work on, info and tutorials were spoonfed to him since he doesnt know how to do it yet he claims to found/learn it himself and that he taught it to someone when in fact that someone taught it to him. Not to mention the fact that paywall mods are literally against terms of service of 'monetizing Fromsoft's product with no permission'

No matter how hard those modders try, they'll always be compared to convergence and they'll always be down there. I hope they can think of reducing useless things and developing them further.

How come the jump attacks come out after landing and not on button command?
Damn I hope eventually you feel the want to bring back the sanctum mace and bone fists in the sense of the ridiculous knockback and down but the ruinous flame fist arm amazing with the almost same 2 handed moveset. Best thing in the game was that mace though it was my baby.
This mod's getting a lot of hate because it's locked behind a paywall, and I feel like that's a bit of a deserved criticism. It's one thing to modify a game and have a patreon/donation option for people if they like the mod, but people can't even play this without shelling out $5/mo.
Other mods like Convergence have more content, fit in the game's setting more, and have more polish while being completely free and thus attracting a WAY bigger fanbase than this is getting. From a profitability standpoint alone - there's a reason why WinRAR is free but suggests you pay. They earn 10x the profit by getting word of mouth out there and having people pay of their own volition instead of putting up a paywall and creating instant dislike.

It took a very long time, I have been meaning to include snippets. Never did because of time to do it and added time on the video but the latter doesn't really matter now

I love these weapons bhut i honestly think that Garden of Eyes would be better off fusing with convergence. Convergence has a lot more new content and it's free, but some things like bosses from dark souls and these weapons are pretty cool.

If it wasn’t bad enough that a lot of this stuff is just copy-pasted weapons from ER and Dark Souls, the creator is also ripping content other modders, then selling it all as paywalled half-assed content. Convergence does it better for free, and actually puts effort into what they create.

The fact that you have to pay to use a mod is ridiculous. Wanting to profit from a work that is not yours is a crime!
It’s all so gaudy and over the top and boss animations aren’t scaled down for it to be more realistic that your smaller character is using them. Especially the Crucible Knight animations. Just more slapdashery of taking animations they thought looked cool and putting them onto weapons and hoping that it works.
I feel like I'm watching Final Fantasy with this crap.

Yes, these issues have been caused due to an older tool being used, and have been addressed alongside Margit's Cane and Gravity Ore Blade, and many others, and fixed in the latest patch. Thanks for noting :D

It's like those toy adverts where they show all this shiny stuff but once you buy it, it's dog shit. What you want are those free passion projects, like Convergence.

As much as I'd want to try the mod, no thanks. Yeah it costs money which is total bs by mod standards, but so many of these weapons are very unpolished with their animations and MAAAN I can NOT handle how overdone the effects are! I'm going to use Convergence as a comparison. One of the weapons Convergence introduced in their mod is a one handed magic axe and it's ash of war is basically multiple bright blue ray slashes with a follow up (I'm pretty sure Snuggly has it in a video.) What I love about that AOW is that even though the effects are bright, it's NOT BLINDING. Or even worse, because of the amount of effects going on, it covers way too much of the surrounding area which could lead to many punishes to the player. So many of the Garden of Eyes weapons are way too blinding or have WAY too much going on too the point it's very uncomfortable to the eyes.

It's a shame this mod never worked when I tried it. Broken garbage! Not even functional on a fresh installation on latest drivers and a modern system. Permanent black screen sim, go play Convergence where it's FREE!
Oh and to add all that the mods discord is dead and you absolutely will not recieve help when needed. Actual days between general chat activity.
it's because the game updated to 1.10.1 that's why the convergence mod broke. stop complaining since it's free for everybody. if you really can't wait for new update on convergence then look up how to downgrade elden ring and then you can play with convergence mod.
There's an alt save mod that's a workaround until it gets updated. My friend and I can play it again
