It is quite the price difference new. Don’t get me wrong I would 100% go with the comp. Going with a used comp would be the way to go, but you’re still going to be 10-15 grand more.
After seeing the design of the front and interior elements of the G45, I realized that there is no point in waiting for the new X3M and took the F97 LCI. In addition, it is not clear why the G45 50i costs 145k, while the F97 LCI costs 93k. And another question is why the 50i does not have new M seats, because even the G01 / G02 had them. Also, the question is why the civilian version has dual exhaust, this is an M feature, and this is not an M car.
Yeah, but the M Comp is gone. So these are the two top their versions. I'm not comparing them as direct competitors or the direct replacement. I'm showcasing the new X3 to the old one and showing the top trims of each year. Not every comparison has to be so 100% apple to apples.

@SKDYCAT Huh, it won't blow by you. The X3 M50 will actually beat it off a light in normal conditions if you aren't launching both, it picks up so much quicker and has no lag like the X3M. @@BrosFOURRSpeed Did you mention the 13mpg you'll get with the X3M and how their accelerations are like a few tenths apart on the 0-60? The X3 M50 is actually quicker off the line and in normal conditions when you're not using launch.
@@DMCarReviews is that from your experience? It has over 100 HP less, so that’s hard to believe. And yes, I mentioned MPG and 0-60, the M50 is almost 1 second slower, they aren’t within a tenth of a second…so no way it is quicker..
@@BrosFOURRSpeed Yes, it's from my personal experience. I test cars with Dragy and RaceBox. You're welcome to watch my X3 M50 review. How is the X3M quicker by a second? In my testing, the X3 M50 did a 0-60 in 4.6s from idle, and 4.0s from launch, and it has the capability to do 3.8s easily with better weather and Shell gas. I didn't even use the boost correctly, still pulled those times. If I used the boost off idle, I would have done a 4.3-4.4s run off idle. I'm not sure if my test car even had premium in it. The X3M Competition, if you time it by Dragy will do a 4.6-4.7 from idle, and 3.6-3.7 from launch. I recently tested a new M3 Competition xDrive, and it did a 4.3s 0-60 off idle, which is 0.3s apart from the X3 M50. With a launch the M3 did 3.5s. Just goes to show how close the numbers are.
