Yeah I don't mind the exterior. But the interior feels more like a basic X1 for $40k. I prefer a 2024 X3M. So we'll see if this interior grows on me but it feels a bit basic. Drives great tho and will still be a nice car overall

Guys i have this car. In person this car looks really good. Yes i have to say theres allot of plastic inside.but you forget about that once you drive it
I test drove a 2025 x3 M50 today. I really enjoyed it. I can see where some might like the 2024 instrumentation better, but it’s not a deal breaker for me.

Not really. A bit more power in this engine then the last B58 X3. So the mild hybrid system ads a nice touch. But the old one to me still drove pretty similar. The new screen is cool looking but I prefer the use of the old one with physical climate controls
Ground clearance is 4.4 inches? This is not an attractive design inside and out. I think BMW goofed up here. Seeing the preproduction models, I bought a ‘24 M40i with classic BMW design.
The rear has no bumper, just flat…like having no ass. The zero-60 has to be better than 4.4 since it has more power than before. Overall a nice update.
The good: Huge screens, iDrive 9.0, bigger heads up display area, B58TU2 w/ port injection, quad tips, nice thick flat bottom steering wheel, no sunroof leak issues due to opening sunroof removal, no ambient lighting moisture intrusion/hotspot issues due to removal of gaps. The bad: No more M differential option, no more opening sunroof, design that will take time to grow on you.
Nitpick... The lack of essential physical buttons e.g Climate control and stereo. Has to suck when it's 33c AG's you can't change the in carbon temperature heh

@@BrosFOURRSpeed yes by the way you should read the Forbes review they just launched on 15th Oct. the roast is so bad they trashed BMW . The title says the problem with 25 x3. It pretty much sums up all of our feelings about the interior
1) comfort access gone from rear doors 2) no tail pipes on 30 model 3) no ambient light in rear doors 4) no ambient lights in door pocket 5) foot rest and trunk scuff plates went from metal to plastic 6) dash and door tops went from leatherette to plastic 7) door grabs went from leatherette to plastic 8) lower dash went from rubberized material to plastic 9 ) MSport steering wheel airbag cover went from leather to plastic 10) biggest of all that makes me cry is the cpillar the thing that you touch every time you grab the seat belt in the rear is plastic used to be leatherette 11) rear seats dont recline 12) door handles and buttons went from metal to plastic. 13) No scuff plates at the entry . All of this is cost cutting and thinking its customers are stupid . Looks are subjective I agree . I don’t like the mini van looking back some one might like it but to charge 90k before taxes in Canada and give you this ??

In 5 years someone will call it timeless classic look. They already call 2020 design "timeless classic". Human perception has inertia, most people do not accept new things easily
The car is cheap, ugly and very expensive for what is offered. The only positive experience from it is probably driving dynamics but that does not worth 70+K. 35-40K is a fair price for it, otherwise one should look toward Chinese brands
The X3M you guys just reviewed is the X3 at its peak imo. You'd basically be buying this for the B58 and the tech, albeit the over-complicated infotainment and Hvac controls or lack there of.
@@J_Starr007The X3M Has the S58 tho which is sweet. I’d go for a leftover 24 M Comp to get that engine and nicer more normal interior. The new one is a nice step up in power from the old M40i, but I’m not a fan of the style

I really don't think the 2024 needed much of a change. Feel like it was so nice. I liked the separate climate controls vs having it all in the screen

Yeah the design is a bit odd. BMW claims 4.4, however we all know they underrate things. But this isn't the lightest SUV either. Drives nice overall
