What is really cool is that the guitar still sounds like a strat but very beefed up strat. These little humbuckers are powerful for their size. Really impressive.
At first I thought, good demo, I’ll buy these. Now after watching the whole video I’m selling all my gear and quitting music.

When a video is titled as a pickup demo it would be helpful to always see the switch position so we know which pick we are hearing. (Or, add a title to tell which pickup.)

I purchased the 920D Everything Axe Loaded Pickguard and it's the best purchase for my 2008 Am Dlx Stratocaster I could have made. It still has a lot of the Strat sounds but on super steroids. My Strat has gone through 4 changes through the years and now it's at its best configuration. I highly recommend it. I did get the two switch pickguard that can go to split coil or give me a 2 more options at the pickup selector switch (Neck and Bridge, and all 3 pickup on).

I bought the loaded pickguard when it was introduced and now wish I had bought a few more. Amazing versatility clean and with gain.
What a magnificent Strat gold. Epic, just truly beautiful. I got a HSS and have switched the middle single coil and bridge single coils with Seymour Duncan Hot Rails, in effect like my idol Steven Maynard 'The Riffmaster' Clark and SpaceAce I have a triple humbucker now. Sure it's never going to be a exact specced guitar to theirs but shit the HRs make a huge difference. Next stop filling a real Floyd Rose.
nice tone, nice shredding. I'm thinking of buying that kit, problem is that JB always sounded irritating in the higher notes, but crisp and sharp for riffs. Duncan Custom SH 5 is great for solo, very balanced but muddy for chords, I guess will give JB a try again after 15 years

I have the same pick up set. I play through a Peavey Delta blues 1x15 tube amp. The first time I played through it I WAS SOLD! Freaking great clean sounds and killer lead tone. I have my back up Chinese squire set up the same way. Over 500 gigs and still my go to guitar. Peace.

Many years ago at church practice one evening there was only a bass amp with a 1x15 speaker for me to use with my Strat Plus Deluxe with the red-Silver-Blue Lace Sensor pickups. That was the best my guitar EVER sounded and everyone there agreed. In my opinion, a 15" speaker with a Strat is the way to go.

@@wallysanchez1732 Did Malmsteen even use effects? I thought he plugged straight into a Marshall, but I think he did have hotter noiseless pickups in his Strats.

Je sais pas ce sont tes EQ de preset, mais habituellement je trouve les double format simple soit trop criard, soit trop rond/chaud, abusé plus qu'un vrai humbucker...
On sait que la portion de corde capté joue en premier sur le son du micro, mais là je suis surpris, c'est bien équilibré.

I think when you are in freestyle mode, the pickups sound a little harsh, don't know if the sound of the Axe or something but I like how versatile is this loaded pickguard. are using 500 or 250 ohms potentiometers?

I have an HSS guitar and thinking about putting these pickups, what's the best full-size humbucker equivalent to the JB.Jr? Does a regular JB Trembucker will match in terms of tonal EQ and output? Or is there any other options?
Many cheaper options. Iron Gear out of the UK makes several at a great price. The overwound Rolling Mill is incredible. Less expensive pups are often better than SD’s, Dimarzio’s, Bare Knuckles…. It doesn’t cost much at all to make a high quality pickup. Companies that make inexpensive pickups don’t advertise. They use word of mouth. They dont pay signature artists by the hundreds and they dont have a trillion dollar payroll. Magnets 🧲 cost the same when bought in bulk, no one alnico magnet is more magnetic than another, ceramic magnets are ceramic magnets, formvar or other wire is just wire, wax is wax, winding machines are all the same basically, companies like iron gear or guitar fetish use quality cloth wire covering. High dollar pickups are normally a grift. Think about it.

Doing what Leo intended. Don't like the neck, change it. Don't like the pickguard, change it, don't like the pickups, change them. Completely utilitarian, but also beautiful.

William Pizzimenti 250k I have a set that came loaded from Duncan with Duncan pots and all 3 are 250 as with all strat sized humbuckers.
Would you recommend keeping 250k pots with these pickups, or 500k? I know traditionally single coils use 250k and humbuckers 500k but since it’s a single coil sized humbucker, which would you recommend?

When you do a pup demo,u need to play clean,using different tones.

So when you use your guitar you play it clean or you are using it through various gain stages,applications and effects?if its the second playing it only clean its pretty much useless and most people belong in the second category.

Wanted to love this vid. Everything? Will it handle jazz, blues and rock? I wanted info on what pickups. What arrangement. Instead I get some guy showing off. No different styles, no pickup selection, in short, no info. I shut it down @ 2:26. Color me thumbs down.
