      Could have done it cheaper too but I wanted to make sure I got a good fan.

    @WickedFester Do you what size the screws are on the top of the amp? The screws that hold the Chassis?

    Why did you replace the fan? What was wrong? Mine quit working and this amp doesnt have a tube, so Im trying to figure out how to fix it.

      Sorry for the late reply, just noticed this. The fan had a bad bearing and was making a loud honking noise and intermittently working.

      @@WickedFesterBand Did your amp turn off because of the fan going bad? Or was it just the noise bothering you?

    • @WickedFesterBand
      @WickedFesterBand  5 років тому +1

      grateful It was the noise. I bought it used and decided to repair it rather than return it because I liked it. If the fan quit all together, I’m sure the amp would have overheated and quit working. I didn’t notice the noise in all the din of Guitar Center but once I got it home I did. It was intermittent but an easy fix so I kept and repaired it.

      Played through it today and it still sounds great. Compared favorably to all 3 of my all tube Marshall’s. Thanks to the opinions of 12 year old experts these things can be had for chump change by the dozens and I am there to scoop them up for a fraction of their original price. You just have to know how to dial them in. Check out this guys video. m.ua-cam.com/video/kXID5J3cKBY/v-deo.html
