One more comment today… Margaret, you are such fun and a lovely woman! Your positivity is uplifting, and I so enjoyed listening to today’s video. Thank you, thank you!
If you stop accepting that change is inevitable, then you will get stuck, and stop learning and growing. So continue on and learn how it best suits you to adapt without compromising your morals and values❤
Well dang! I did not know there were so many AI apps available that can be so helpful. I still do my own research on various subjects, but I'm sure that I miss many helpful areas. You mentioned a couple of sites that I will definitely check out. Especially the one that produced those gorgeous pictures of you! I had professional pictures done of me years ago, and it cost a pretty penny. While they were very good, the ones you shared were outstanding! Thank you for sharing.
Love, love, love this video! I have been wondering more and more about AI and you answered so many questions. Really appreciate the apps and all of the other creative aspects you shared about AI. I am soon to be 70 and want to always remain current with technological advances. Thanks so much, Margaret! Now off to research AI!!❤😉
How awesome! I'm almost 78 and use AI a lot for info on literally everything. I love that I can do it for fun, too. I understand the reluctance of some and wouldn't suggest it to someone who is not computer-literate or comfortable with AI. For me, as a lifelong learner, it's absolutely incredible! If I'm not comfortable with some sites, I go incognito until I know more. Thank you for the encouragement and resources. 😍
I am not afraid of AI. I have been technologically savvy since I got a minor in computer science in the 80's, and worked in it, even running my own website design business for some years. What concerns me is how it is or can be used. Remember that Stephen Hawking said that AI could spell the end of the human race. There are serious discussions about the ethics of AI, not just in the US, but in the European Union, where the DGPR (regulates data processing) has been implemented, and where it looks like they will soon pass the EU AI act. AI has some fun aspects, but I don't like how it is too easy to accept what it feeds us instead of us exploring our own creativity. This story reminds me of what could happen. The fun aspects of AI are the free corn: ‘You catch wild pigs by finding a suitable place in the woods and putting corn on the ground. The pigs find it and begin to come every day to eat the free corn. When they are used to coming every day, you put a fence down one side of the place where they are used to coming. When they get used to the fence, they begin to eat the corn again and you put up another side of the fence. They get used to that and start to eat again. You continue until you have all four sides of the fence up with a gate in the last side. The pigs, who are used to the free corn, start to come through the gate to eat; you slam the gate on them and catch the whole herd. Suddenly the wild pigs have lost their freedom. They run around and around inside the fence, but they are caught.´
Thanks for this !!!! It's a changing world and it's not all gloom and doom !!! Let's look at the positive side !!! I love my robot vacuum cleaner !!! 💕
I'm a bit apprehensive about AI technology. Alot of times when I ask AI on FB or ask Alexa the answer is either wrong (totally not relevant to my question) or Alexa doesn't know? Frustrates me more than doing a Google search. I do play around on my phone with some fun apps occasionally. I think at 63 I'm kind of past my technology prime but I'm willing to try to adapt because it is going to be necessary. My husband refuses all technology, no computer, no cell phone. He is totally dependent on me. I don't think he even realizes how much I need to be able to use technology just to get by in this world.
Hi Margaret, I havent been seeking out AI apps but they are present in the background and if they haven't already, will soon be used by everyone whether they know it or not. Like you, I was involved in the high tech world for many years. My late husband was one of the original Microsoft employees back in the 70s After he left Microsoft, we started our own small software company. There was talk of AI even back in the early 80s when we met, 40 years ago. AI is here now whether we like it or not. We live in interesting times!
Good Tuesday 🌅 morning, Margaret , what they started out with AI for good, people will somehow start to use it for 😔 bad, just a matter of time😮 but I still remain optimistic.
Thanks for you informative and fun approach to this. We can't put the genie back in the bottle so the more we learn about AI and how we can use it the better😊
We all need to be life-long learners, and we do not have much power to decide what new trends, technologies, and changes will happen in our world. I love AI, and know we are all smart enough to judiciously use it!
I also have use chat, GPT, when traveling. If I’m going to live new area, maybe the next state over, and staying for two days, I will ask for a two day itinerary of of interesting things in the area, including hidden gems. There have been some wonderful suggestions that I might not have found if I searched myself.
User. I have to agree. Originality of thought seems to have gone out the window. Best information I get is from other people (actual human beings lol). I do buy online now and then (household stuff in general) and the recommendation came from a friend, for a certain website, the name starts with a "W".

I don't like AI, too much "fake", nothing natural. Like "make-up", a make "believe", but everybody is different. 😊❤
Thanks for showing a different view of AI. I am one who will "chew" on it for a while before making any decisions.
I would like AI to provide a custom wake up alarm that has a pleasing voice and a kind message. Like “Wake up beautiful. It’s going to be a good day.”
can u list the site links for the ones you talked about so we can try them too?

The amount of energy used by AI is undermining and canceling out all climate initiatives. Use it sparingly.

Very well stated Marliss! I got my first PC when one still had to learn DOS! I agree with Stephen Hawking.
Thank you so much for sharing your insights and point of view
Thank you for sharing ideas on how to enjoy AI. The opportunity to learn and play in a new way is so enjoyable.
Great idea for AI app - an AI alarm clock!

Thank you for the ideas. I can't wait to try some.
Have fun!

Loved learning this!! Ty Margaret :)
Thanks for sharing your knowledge and experience using AI. Sometimes our fears are due to unknown info; but agree we should be cautious. Thx.
I tried AI GPT I wanted a picture drawn and a song. Boom got it. Not bad either! Pretty good even.
Iam enjoying your videos. Thank you
Ive been making fun pics with ai images etc. Like with dogs or cats with soace suits etc.

Good morning Y'all!
Great video!
Glad you enjoyed it
Sounds fun and interesting. I try to stay open minded and up with things.
I don’t do change good. But it comes anyway and we have to adapt. Thanks Margaret ♥️
You are so welcome
Thanks for this video. I'm happy to learn and go forward.
Very informatieve. Thank you so much. I never knew of ideova. 🌸
I like the idea of you expanding to the Spanish world using the technology. Now that is wondrous. The rest, a bit iffy 😅
Very interesting. I am not sure about my confidence when it comes to venturing down the AI path.
It seems we are thinking less and less, for ourselves
I find that AI is making me more curious

Made note: Chat GPT; BARD; and CLAUDE (?)
There are so many now and lots of specific apps! Have fun with it
I like it much!
