Mannn! I used to go to a church right across from this place. Sunday mornings you could still smell the amazing aroma of this BBQ! And I want to go back to this place and eat it.
I went to Snows in 2008, just after they had been named Best bbq in America by Texas Monthly. I pulled up at 9:00am and I got the last of the brisket, some turkey, ribs and sausage. Absolutely love people like this. It's not work, it's about doing it because you have a love in your heart. So many people hardly want to wake up because corporations turn this life into a job. I'll certainly share this video with all my friends and family on FB, keep on going... When you put your heart into what your doing, it's no longer a job, but a passion that everyone can taste when it reaches the dinner tables, and this is the love you will not find in the tiny portions of virus sprayed meats found in the local grocery stores.

They aren't lying when they say people from all over the world :D
Snow's is great for sure! One minor quibble: during the interview it kind of implied that brisket is something new. Brisket might just be catching on nationwide, but Texas has been doing barbecue brisket for well over a century, probably closer to a century and a half.
I really wish they could produce these frank documentaries faster, but after this I realized that they’re so good cuz it probably takes them a lot of time to find these mysterious, passionate, charismatic and locally adored gems of a restaurant. He rarely covers some food channel big commercial 20 Michelin star restaurant. They find food that lacks that conceptual aftertaste of the industry executive. Incredibly pure motivations r rare.

Frankie needs to have his own Netflix show; Into the Soul of the Chief. He is the nicest guy, around and so humble. He practices gratitude in all that he does! The world needs more Frank Pinello!!! Bless his beautiful heart. (yes, I'm obsessed
Robyn Michele Field agree
I just had Ms. Tootsie’s bbq yesterday. Waited in line for 9 hours. It was hands down the best BBQ I’ve ever had.
Where is this place played
Location pls
It’s not bland? Only using salt and pepper sounds so unappetizing
9 hours !!
I like this journalist, he’s not trying to catch people off guard or cause drama like literally everyone else in media
His pizza show seasons are fantastic.
You just put into words what is seemingly wrong with most journalism, nowadays.
Lol it's a show about interviewing restaurateurs, even if he wanted to how could he manufacture drama?

This OG country women is so passionate about her job. Mad respect for her..
@Alaska Pirates no its not
@Alaska Pirates As someone who currently lives in Texas, I digress.
Hey guys check this 420 website out and we deliver worldwide cannabismarketworldwide.com/
@Alaska Pirates YOU might be pissed bc YOUR family was inbred, but that's YOUR problem. Please don't come back.
@Alaska Pirates I can’t tell. Texas is the fastest growing state in the USA. It’s been that way for sometime now.
Frank is one of two hosts on UA-cam that I love. The other one is Sean Evans from Hot Ones. I feel their passion, their love for the things they do.
This guy knows he is in the presence of a LEGEND.
No matter how full I may feel, this makes my mouth water still...
Ms.Tootsie has the greatest work ethic.
As someone who lives in the Netherlands it makes me mad we don't have good American style BBQ like they have in the US.
We do home barbecuing but it just doesn't compare. This looks absolutely delicious! Makes my mouth water.
Thanks Frank and Munchies for these videos. I love them!
Do it yourself!! It's so much fun and the end result is amazing. The secret is low and slow!
M vSdV you europeans think you're too good for us. we're all fat and stupid, right?
@@Cycl0pzZClan I got a Weber BBQ, need to get into it more.
@@mezzafinook Nah friend, not all Americans. Just you, you fat fuck.
M vSdV not exactly, but nice try at slinging back an insult with your ascended european intellect. i feel smarter already having interacted with an actual european!
1:30 "wooshire sawse" my god i love that accent
TheLama27 same lol.
As someone from the UK, that was hard to listen to lol
So happy that UA-cam recommended this to me becauseI had the honor of meeting Tootsie when i was there at Snow's BBQ. I had to take a picture with her, she is so kind :D She could have retired years ago but is still going strong and i have nothing but the utmost respect and admiration for her.
Also met Clay and of course i took a picture with him too, he's a great, friendly and hard working guy, hope to meet Tootsie and Clay again this summer, if the travel ban gets lifted for European travelers to the US. They aren't lying when they say people from all over the world :D
He acts and sounds like Adam Sandler apologizing to tootsie when he slam the lid/cover.
This makes me proud to be Texan
That just says it all. Nothing Else to be Proud of omegalul
THE STARS AT NIGHT
Brandon Rdz I’ve always wanted to visit Texas, Especially Deep South.
Brandon Rdz fax
Brandon Rdz yea, I cant help but think of how she was in her mid to late 20’s during the Jim Crow era and what side she was on....
I'm from Texas and have never heard of this place. Probably should try it. Looks delicious.
they have a a show on netflix that introduces her to you. great show
Snow's is great for sure! One minor quibble: during the interview it kind of implied that brisket is something new. Brisket might just be catching on nationwide, but Texas has been doing barbecue brisket for well over a century, probably closer to a century and a half.
Who cares! 😂 Two ppl..
Watching people socializing in warm weather with great food beats being in Chicago right now
She actullay doesn’t stop lol I can see her in the back while they talking she still working lol
Frank needs to get a Netflix show
3:42 Brooklyn foodie: "So what can you tell me about brisket in Texas?"
84 year old country grandma: "Let me take a seat, junior. We're gonna be here a while."

This is only one of the reasons I love my Texas, hard working folks, the best food in USA you like it or not, humble people and best service, I love my Mexican food and people, but next to it nothing like Texas.
I want to be 84 and still this strong.
She's the BBQ fairy with her wand mop and all. If I ever visit Texas this is on my to do list. Thanks!!
What an awesome woman. She reminds me my grandma who passed away few years back.. awesome chef, awesome food.. always kind with a hint of sarcasm.. grandma I miss you..
Not dropping the top, is something that is learned at a young age in Texas. Not only is it possible to damage the pit, but any debris that is in the top gets on your food.
Yeah the debris sounds like a good reason not to do it. If dropping it like that caused the weld to break, well it was defective anyway.
@@juandenz2008 I prefer not to test it. ;-)
The lady was already mad of something. She just needed someone to trigger her more. She needs to get laid or something.
@D B is that the reason most people are mad.. Because they hate their lives because how they're doing what they don't want
@@chinoscars5655 ,the food could real good and prices could be not to high. But if she spoke in that tone around customers I would not be a customer. But I do respect her age and the fact that she is still working
She was about to get a switch after his ass when he dropped that lid lol. It's not easy to work in someone else's house
🤟🏽
Just a metal lid That can be easily fixed and she got triggered lmfao.
@@Mr.Clean69420 she didn't get triggered. It's her house. People take care of their shit and care about what they do. Plus she seems old school. You could probably learn some valuable life lessons working for her.
@@tommellos6056 Yes I could possibly learn valuable lessons from her about food no doubt..
But one lesson she can learn from is not to be a control freak.
With the amount they're charging for that food...
they can easily replace those rusty smokers if a lid does happen to break. It's just pride and ego of wanting to control everything.
@@Mr.Clean69420 I understand what you're saying but I don't think you get what I'm saying. Different walks of life. I grew up around people like her. It's just different. Guess I don't know how to properly explain what I'm trying to say. But I laughed when she somewhat scolded him for it. I felt it. I think more people need that nowadays. Folks are getting too soft
It's truly remarkable to see someone at an advanced age take great care and dedication in cooking barbecue for a long time.
When she walked to the chair to sitdown you know she was about to drop some fire story
I love when she goes to sit down to talk. It’s like “ you about to get an earful, honey”
