- This Acura belongs to a friend and they gave it to me for the day to review. This is a nice sedan with a 6 speed manual transmission and it has a lot of pep. I like how this car drives and it is a little bit more unusual with it being the manual. Enjoy! Please subscribe.
It is absolutely impossible to find one of these in manual for sale. I'm guess every owner is holding on to them forever. Can't blame em, I would too.
Seen one going for 10g with 98k miles
And the ones that you do find are over priced and super high mileage. Owners usually dump these things right before it needs a new clutch too.
I have a 2013 2.4 and I'll never sell it. I got it for 8200 with 108k on it. I just got 150k I replaced the alternator and battery, tires. That's it. Iv had many Hondas in the past. This is my favorite. I do miss my RSX type S lol.
@@bobbyboyce6174 Funny thing is, with this car market you could probably resell the car for the same if not more money.
I live in Canada. Mine is a 2015 with 37000 miles. I was selling it on Autotrader for the better part of 2021. I was asking for $12500 USD. Barely any interest at all. In the end I couldn't sell it and it's still in my driveway.
I really like the body style of this vehicle, and I want to try driving this. Once again, you're providing great content.
Thanks! 👍
Bought this car brand new in 2014, still love it and drive it everyday. Plan on keeping it forever, and I have the 6 speed manual.
I own this car in silver. Same year with the 6 speed. I love it. Iv been driving Honda's for years. This is my nicest one so far.
Couldn't agree more!
whats a fair price for one of these?
@@mmmmmMuffinz I paid 8200 before taxes with 108k miles. I think I got a good deal. Almost 2 years later I got 140k on it and still runs perfectly. It's a rare car. I'm in NJ and nobody else has one that I've seen. I'm pretty deep in the Honda game out here.
@@bobbyboyce6174 damn bro that's a good deal! Lowest I can find nowadays is $10k
@@mmmmmMuffinz the dealership I got it from said they had been trying to sell it for months, but when people saw it was a Manuel they didn't want it. Lol so I got it cheaper because it was so rare lol. I love my car. It's peppy and reliable.
Do a pull video bro
These make awesome daily drivers!
I agree. Even with the little amount of time I had to drive it, I can tell it is one of those cars that will always keep you smiling when driving everyday.
After getting a 440 and selling this car, I came to realize how hard it was to drive this car, as the engine and transmission reacted differently in all different temperatures.
@@NYLifeInNJ 440 as in BMW? And this was less enjoyable? Please tel more
these 6spd iLX are rare, rare.
get them before there's a JDM tax. just like how they do them TL-S 6-6.
I remember my home girl had one of these back in 2018. She pulled up to my baby shower and she wanted me to park it I was oh wow didn’t know they made these in stick. She winded up getting rid of it for a Lexus and I wish she didn’t. She told me the moment she traded it in it was already sold I’m like you sold a GEM lol
4:05 engine start
6:03 drive start
Im looking at one 2013 with 6 speed 35k miles owner asking 14k$ it is in mint condition?
Nice car. I have the same year, color Ilx but automatic....I love it. Im having bluetooth connectivity issues and was looking for help with that and this video popped up, lol.
0:42 No, the base model has 2.0L 150 hp.
You are correct, I was referring to the base hybrid model 1.5L, but I should have specified. In my mind (other than MPG performance of course) that is the worst model for performance in regards to driving enjoyment and HP. I believe it has like 111hp. But you are correct that the bare bottom base model is the 2.0L. The MSRP was $3,000 more for base hybrid than the base 2.0L, so as far as price, 2.0L was the very base model.
This is basically the Civic SI but nicer interior and paint.
the 6-speed only come In the 2.4? or also the 2.0?
The 6 Spd was only paired with the 2.4L engine.
This one or tsx 2013/12014?
This one
Is this a rebuilt title ?

How is reliability on these? Issues?
Very reliable, but the throw out bearings on these are an issue., like the Civic Si of this vintage had as well… too expensive to fix so will wait until it’s time to replace clutch. Outside of that, 112k miles, literally no mechanical issues. Been a perfect daily for me.
