My da used to say there was kangaroos on Lambay island and I thought he was joking.
He probably thought they were small kangaroos.

They are technically. Wallabies are part of the kangaroo family.

What does a wallaby's stink smell like?

I wonder how theyll evolved in the environment and how they will change over time. Like you wonder if nature sorts itself out with invasive species eventually nature will figure out a way it might take a long time

The thing with wallabies is that they aren't really damaging anything. They mainly eat grass and considering how much it rains in Ireland, the grass grows back fast. There is enough food for the wallabies and the native population of animals.

1 year late but apparently they already have thicker coats than your usual wallabies

Yeah can be highly invasive. Three introduced into NZ decades ago quickly became 15000
