Certainly not the largest private island in Europe, that tile goes to Dulichium Island in Greece with an area of 5,000 square Kms , Lambay Island has a tiny area of only 2.5 square kms
Ha! Ha! Enjoy those sheep alarm-clocks! Do the Barings still own the island? And do the wallabies eat the cattle's hay? Looks like fun. Thanks for posting.
Yes, the Barings still own the island :) It's in a family trust, and one of the family members runs everything on the island. There are a lot of fences, so the wallabies don't get in with the cattle often, and they like to stay on the hillside in the brush. All the farm animals are grass fed year-round :) I love seeing all the animals! Miss you Barb!
i love the vew from tower bay, just seeing lambay island.
i always wanted to see what the island actually looked like
One amazing island! Been strolling around in Malahide and googled this island. Thanks for the follow-up story!
No problem! Its nice to hear that someone local has seen our video! We just posted another about the wallaby population on Lambay. Enjoy!
Did you or could you do a video on the neolithic chamber I am very interested in it and the island.its been a wish of mine to see it
We live in skerries and would like to go on the island but can’t seem to find a way to book it.
Beautifully shot

Would love a visit but individual trips apparently cannot be booked
Of all the things I was expecting to see, kangaroos were not on that list. But awesome video! Thanks for sharing

I live in Lambay View
So do I!!
Well other than the Wallabies this video could just have been taken on the mainland.
Shouldn't be private.
Its part of Ireland
Hate the dubbed sound. It spoiled the video completely. Thumbs down.
