@Marcushalberstram749 The original comment is right. It's retro-futuritsic. So imagine if we had become more technologically advanced in the 50's than we are now. That's one way you could think of it.. or maybe an alternate universe. Or maybe in this future some old ways of speaking or dressing came back into fashion.. or whatever your imagination can come up with! But really, retro-futurism is an art style that combines exactly those 2 things.. retro and future. Look it up in Google images. You'll see some pretty cool things. This was terribly realistic. Recently I’ve been studying the philosophy behind simulation theory, I’m really blown away how closely psychological this video was, key points raised. Imagine this reality and how many would jump in without thinking, or are we already in this story?
What cost would you pay to have complete bliss. Because you are technically controlled to have complete freedom. Or so you think, imagine all of the power of technology taking away all of the pain and frustration. What would you fear of fear was gone? A false reality so realistic you wouldn’t know the difference. This is why simulation theory is only for a thought experiment. For an AI to build a program that you wouldn’t be able to determine it’s authenticity, you would have had to experience a utopia to have a reference point. So watch the video and imagine what it would take for you to jump into this future. What you gain, what you lose, and if you could even tell a difference. If you were born into a simulated universe you would never know another. If I told you everything you know wasn’t real what ideology do you cling to to define your reality? Think about it…
Honestly didn't know that this was AI generated at first. You did a great job at keeping the horror very subtle instead of going for the shock factor. Which is what made the "turning the frown upside down" scene even more gruesome.
Wow! I love the unnerving feeling of existential dread, the dreamscape visuals and you somehow captured that old timey "Mid-Atlantic" accent of the narrator. A wonderfully executed piece of dystopic and surreal horror. I know some will ask for a full length feature, and I would love to watch it, but also, the self-contained execution of the piece, I feel like an elaboration would run the risk of ruining the premise that is presented in a Short Film format. Brilliant beautiful and brilliant, perfect 1984/ Black mirror vibes
This represents the future of the new filmmaker. A gifted writer who no longer needs a director or actors, or production designer or costume designer or special effects technician or editor or cameramen or lights or camera or soundstages. I call it film-sculpting, not filmmaking. Obviously the maker here is very literate-well read.
Creatives fucking over other creatives?
stunningly well made
This is the best one so far! I almost wish it was feature length!
this is the most gorgeous piece of audiovisual art I have witness it in my life I love the retrofuturism aesthetic the pastel palette of colours the ribbon microphone sound, is just perfect.
I remeber watching AI generated images of how a batman horror fantasy movie in the 80 and i was amazed like " I would love to see a real movie like this" and suddenly you came with "Capitol of conformity". thank you for this Im addicted now
this deserve a movie please!!!!
so happy were getting pt 2
Hell ya. It's a lot more slow paced and dreadful. Watch out
@@AzeAlter I will excited to see this
Turn that frown,, upside down.
Poignant and disturbing, I love it.
Great cautionary short film about the direction our society is heading. Cant wait to live it.
This does seem like a great setting for a BioShock video game.
If society eventually becomes like this, you will not want to live in it
@@johngower2208dunno I’m already almost to the point just strap me in the machine to relive the past and leave me be.
"We Happy Few" it's already a video game. And this whole video is just a complete rip off of it. Literally copy pasted the plot into an AI generator. There's nothing original to this.
It's similar but not the same.
This needs to be made into a full film.
Really really incredible. I would love to see a full production set in this world!
I know I can't help but to imagine the dude that's looking at the figures near the end is the man character.
You are living it
This is genius. Thank you for creating this. ❤
I would love to see an entire series or like a movie of this, what a great idea.
sequel coming!
I see this as a nearly perfect blend of 1984, Brave New World, and Animal Farm. What a wonderful world it would be!
Weird how A.I. has trouble making human faces sometimes but in this video the ONE time it makes a nearly perfect human face is on the one person who is scared at 2:21. Coincidence???
Fast forward to now. AI can make almost any image flawless, except text. It still writes gibberish in text in images
He has a vision when he makes these videos. Somtimes he renders 100s och trash scenens until he finds the right one that end up in the video.
Smile, this is a superb use of AI as an artists' tool. Original and creative. No 3rd party IP was harmed in the creation of this content.
I would spend my entire paycheck to watch this as a full film.
This was...dark...amazing...
Wow! Great Job man! Great concept, and great execution! Can't wait to see more!
Thanks man!
The most symbolic & realest film I ever seen! Wow great job
Excellent work. I really wish this wasn't where we're heading. But we are.
This is incredible. Well done.
This was amazing, shocking, fear inducing, unsettling and truly beautiful 👏🏽
Damn i got hooked on the capital.
Very impressive indeed, would love to see a full fledged film of this one day. Until then, keep up the good work!
Thank you! More to come
