Don't know if it was intentional, but I love the subtle mind-fuck of very briefly flashing the number 6 before it flipped to 7 on the Trust Talley. In world, I imagine it is done very purposefully by The Capital in order to give the recipient the subtle, near-subliminal sense that they got something "extra," which will keep them further psychologically invested in the system.

this kind of thing would never happen js there is always people born who just arent affected by outside influences as easily as others, the ultimate end of the argument of all is this: We establish rules, ethics, and principles to protect us from eachother and from ourselves. However, we create these guidelines because we know these are things people will do. Sharing these ethics is how we maintain a healthy society. It is when these rules become more specific, more enforced, when we fail to remember eventuality, human nature, and why we do it all in the first place, that we begin tearing apart our society. you can see it through history, and now.
