2000 bombardier traxter 1 way bearing repair

I'm trying to do mine this way. I'm trying to reassemble it now and cant get the cover back on. I've been fooling with it all afternoon. I think I'm still going to end up having to pull the engine

My the engine gets stock and turn by hand back 1/4 turn then gets sock again

Thanks for showing this, currently doing this exact job on the same bike. Did you try and refit, or make any gasket to go back in, or just use gasket compound/RTV in place of the gasket which is no longer available?

I got lucky and the bike came with a replacement gasket. But if I didn't have the gasket I would have used gasket maker called the right stuff 1 minute set. Sorry about the 1 year later reply idk why I never got the notification
